Code is getting cheaper. Building is not

There is a heavy sentiment floating around lately. “Everything will be built automatically” “My craft is obsolete” “In six months, a tool will read my mind and produce whatever I imagine”I want to challenge this. Code is getting cheaper. Building is not.We are confusing capability with intelligence. LLMs are not AGI. They are not minds that can discover new physics on demand. They are...

sounds pretty advanced! can you share some examples of deterministic dimensions for scoring?

and what about llm-scoring: does LLM output passed/not_passed or it is more?

"7 likes / no comments" --> should I read it as: people interested in others people experience, but have nothing to share about their own? - No prompt on production? - No testing or other routines about it yet?

Please share your current status :)

Ask HN: How do you iterate on and manage prompts in production?

I'm curious about how people handle managing and iterating on their prompts, especially for production-facing prompts that many users depend on.- Where do you store your prompts? - Do you use version control? - How do you test prompts after editing? - Where do you store your test sets? - Do you evaluate results? If so, how? - Are you fine-tuning models like GPT-3.5 for better/cheaper results?

How do you send it, via email?

Re:Why is it bad to charge people to contact you via email? on Wednesday February 25, 2015 @12:49PM (#9108186)
Just to clarify: Do you think you could miss useful email if your public email has a paywall?
Re:Why is it bad to charge people to contact you via email? on Wednesday February 25, 2015 @12:47PM (#9108174)
Everyone who write to your public email have to pay. So basically new contacts. For friends and people you know you use your private email.

This is how a solution could look like: http://wrte.io

My bad. Is the question not clear enough?
Re:Why is it bad to charge people to contact you via email? on Wednesday February 25, 2015 @12:32PM (#9108062)
instead of not charging (like it is now).
Re:Why is it bad to charge people to contact you via email? on Wednesday February 25, 2015 @11:48AM (#9107732)
Could you explain why? What is wrong with that?
Re:Why is it bad to charge people to contact you via email? on Wednesday February 25, 2015 @11:47AM (#9107729)
It is actually the opposite. I want to know why people don’t feel comfortable charging to contact them via email.
Re:Show HN: Wrte.io – Charge for each email you get on Wednesday February 11, 2015 @09:32AM (#9032995)
Thanks!

1) I think the fact of paying is already a good enough barrier. The price could be just a couple of dollars, which would be enough to convice sender to spend sometime on writing a personal email instead of using cold mail template.

2) Because of this barrier user will receive much less email + with much relevant content. As a result sender will have much higher chances for reply.
