Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026) on Monday August 10, 2026 @11:19AM (#49244863)
A laser cut Jigsaw puzzle design tool and generator, focused on making laser cut safe jigsaw puzzles with lots of whimsies and interesting connectors, etc. This way people can make their own custom jigsaw puzzles with the pieces they want.

https://jiglu.dev/

It also has an online game so people can give me faster feedback of what makes puzzle pieces fun or not

I've been working on a tool to design laser cut jigsaw puzzles https://jiglu.dev/

Since I live far away from family I also added an online game so I could play with them or show them what I was making more concretely.

I've cut some jigsaw puzzles that it made, but without access to an uv printer or a laser cutter that works reliably it's been challenging to actually make them

Yeah, it's not good for Brazilian Portuguese. It's always using Portugal Portuguese (pequeno almoço, teu dia, etc).

I've always preferred using PayPal for payment, but after this I'll start avoiding it and just use my CC directly when possible.

Is there an example of importing js functions to imba, or calling imba from inside js or ts? I could not find this.

In Scala js, this interoperability is quite painful, so I wanted to see how easy it is in imba.

Hi Peter. I'm from Brazil and I've recently finished my Master's in the US and have been working in CS under opt for the last 6 months. My company missed the H1-b deadline. Do I have any other options / anything else they could still do this year besides applying for the stem extension?

It is because of institute hostility that there are fewer hacks.

That hack in particular took multiple months of preparation and was took down by the institute in less than 1 hour; before anyone could really see it. Also the amount of security and possible consequences has increased drastically in the last 2 years; continuing the trend of the last 6 years.
