100%, rules for thee not for me
China is neither an open or free market. Opening the door to China and their industrial policy is exactly what distorts traditionally free and open markets.
The fuel cell tech isn’t the problem, it’s that there is no hydrogen gas infrastructure. And there’s certainly no robust H supply that doesn’t include fossil fuel to create the H gas.
Hydrogen fuel cells are just this constant pie in the sky thing. Stop making them and go solve the H infra problem, that’s the barrier.
Years ago I used to really thumb my nose at the National Park permit system, now I love it.
If it’s popular on the gram or someone has mentioned it to me, I will not go.
The best stuff is not popular yet.
For sure some locals love it, cash walking into town. If you own a shop or one of the two little hotels, minting money
Instagram is the worst thing that happened to travel.
What country do you live in if you don’t mind me asking?
Pixar is computer generated motion, no?
Why would the CCP allow this to get out of China? There's a huge competitive advantage to keeping this type of discovery to yourself.
“Shipping the org chart” refers to a phenomenon in product development where the structure of an organization is reflected in its products. This concept suggests that the design and functionality of a product can inadvertently mirror the internal structure of the company that created it.
Internet Computer, should come up on Google
Same thing. Came to comment “we are so back”
No offense to the creators, I appreciate anyone shipping something new, but this has been tried many times without success. HNT being the largest example.
Also, isn’t ICP be the same concept?
Better but still not quite right. Paxton was acquitted of all counts in the Texas Senate and remains in his post.
The suing of a presidential admin by a state AG says very little about the merits of the lawsuit. Pointing it out as a reason to dismiss the legitimacy of a suit stains your reply with obvious bias against conservative policy.
There are plenty of reasons to not like Paxton. Suing POTUS is not high on the list.
CNN is not relevant for anything
Didn't the AG of Texas just open an investigation into Media Matters for this, citing fraud? And X sued them on Monday.
I’ll admit that I do miss when everyone else wasn’t remote. Once Covid handed everyone remote on a silver platter it diminished some of the perks.
Everything used to be completely empty during normal work hours. This is was one of my big life lessons that it’s better to not advertise things that are truly great in order to help prevent the utility of it from being crowded away.
Case in point are “day in the life” TikTok’s about an awesome lifestyle. These egotistically blatant brags end up bringing attention that threatens it.
I can’t imagine the infosec, security department puts a moment of thought into the lived experience of dealing with all the security. And I get it, it is important, but I often think to myself that it seems like they don’t want me to get any work done and that must be why they put all these security hoops in front of me. I must spend an hour+ a day logging in and out of things, and then another hour waiting for security checks on a deploys.
This is my thinking, people hate change. It explains so much of human behavior.
Natural selection would say that those that can handle change well are the ones whose genes will likely carry on. But that does not mean that they want to handle change.
Hadn’t considered Pirates of the Caribbean as a loss in the Depp-Heard fight until just now, kinda sad.
Also like your use of tent-pole.
David Graeber, the author of Debt, is a moron?
Society would grind to an abrupt halt if you cut oil production by even 20%. Of course, if you did that red meat and cheap air fare would go away on their own.
That this is the most upvoted comment shows just how far most people wander from reality.
The amount of doom and gloom and tribal alliance in this thread is classic internet.
The climate is changing, always has been, always will be. Maybe it’s humans, maybe it’s not, I haven’t seen convincing evidence either way.
But I am convinced that fear sells better than anything else so I will remain skeptical that those pushing a climate change fear narrative have incentive beyond, and far more pedestrian than, “saving humanity”.

Yes, thank you. I’m neither confused nor disagree with you. I simply cited the most recent, easily found examples where Google ran afoul for rich results.
There are plenty of examples out there, as mentioned the ones prior to the recent shopping ones. Feel free to dig.
