This looks incredible, great job!

I've been revisiting OpenSCAD recently but find it very frustrating. I just got started with build123d which is great but I'll definitely be trying this. The workflow is exactly what I'm looking for.

I'll drop an issue if I have feedback. Are you open to PRs?

Show HN: Language Server MCP Server Written in Go

https://github.com/isaacphi/mcp-language-server

I had this idea as soon as MCP came out because I wasn't satisfied with the way AI tools deal with searching through code. The precision and correctness of language servers seemed to be a good compliment to the fuzziness of LLMs. LSP was also an inspiration for MCP so I wanted to jam them together.I had also just picked up Go and was looking for a project to dig into a little more. It took...

Super interesting! I'm also working on something related to MCP and LSP: https://github.com/isaacphi/mcp-language-server it's an MCP server that runs a language server.

Do I understand this properly, you're building a telemetry tool for MCP similar to your telemetry tool for LSP, or is it something else?

An MCP server that runs and exposes a language server. Current tools seem to mostly use grep but this works much better for many tasks.

I'm new to Go and this has been a fun project.

Thanks for the tip, trying it out!

Ask HN: Am I using AI wrong for code?

I have a nagging feeling that I'm missing out on productivity gains by under utilizing AI for code. I've used copilot and a few other tools but for the most part they didn't click with my workflow, or ended up leading me down paths that wasted time. The only thing I do now is chat with Claude via the web chat to brainstorm architecture, tool recommendations, and to get small well defined code...

Re:We no longer use LangChain for building our AI agents on Thursday July 04, 2024 @05:36AM (#40873601)
I had the same impression after working through the LangChain tutorials. The one thing I'd like to ask about is Observability. LangChain has some tools around observability that seem genuinely useful to me, and specific to working with LLMs. Are there ways to use only these tools, or alternative observability tools you recommend for working with LLMs?
