What is consciousness ?
MacBook Pro bought 5 years ago, failed three times. It refused to boot now.
I have used HP, Thinkbook, Dell, Mac laptops.
I trust Dell laptop most.
I did not like much of the XML, because it always seemed lot of duplication. All you doing is copying bean definitions and changing bean id and class/interface most of the time. But it became non issue over time. Now spring boot made it really easy with all those annotations.
Meanwhile my macbook pro had decided not to boot anymore third time. It will go to dust bin now.
Not only in 2023, in 60s & 80's as well.
Seems like there was/is demand supply mismatch always.
Extra hard for young Chinese people as they can't vent out openly.
If everyone start practicing leetcode and similar questions used in interview, then whole filtering talent process seems moot.
But for 5000+ users, profit will be like Z = 5000+ * Y.
So question can be how much of Z, you can let go (assuming you want to market to future customers, using this account as reference/example).
Question is, are they actually going to onboard all 5000+ ? You don't want to run in losses, if you offer rates, below your operational cost. May be ask them to do pilot run with subset of user with same rate, how much pain they will cause? Then, you can decide accordingly.
That sound risky, but hey, that is what business is all about. risk/reward ratio? I am afraid, there is no definite answer.
Whatever is the domain/industry, do you have some baseline pricing to compete against ?
A video call with fellow human of another planet will be dope. Till then, live long and prosper!.
When I installed Ubuntu on HP Pavillion dv4 laptop for one of the friend, who was casual user, said - what kind of OS is this, which is still working after 6 years. :)
Happy to contribute to that 3%.
The whole batch of millennials won't be graduating to 40, till 2036. Atleast, wait till then.
Social proof related behavior are not changed easily, but they eventually. Despite availability of email, people were still writing letters. In longer time frame, people do adapt.
Impact seems unimaginable. May be we need an AI to AI all imaginable/unimaginable scenarios.
If something can be replaced by a better option, it will be. Earlier king/people used to send messenger/pigeon to deliver messages. Later came letters(postal services), then phone, then emails, then SMS, then current gen of IM.
Any one doing/done some proper research ?
Humble Bundle Books – Survive Everything
> Then at some point he describes his first time writing a game in software. He goes on about how running all the variations he tried in software would take a skilled engineer months of work, and he had done it in a couple hours - and was ecstatic.
I am sure everyone felt ecstatic at some point, regardless of their trade or field, when they worked on something all day or longer and got it done. The sheer joy it brings afterward makes your mind completely calm; past and future cease to exist for that moment. There are always going to be people like that.
AI or no AI, 20 years from now, people will still be writing software because it just makes them happy. Sure, the nature of problems will change, but these are the people who will keep pushing the field forward.
