Re:Ask HN: Is MongoDB ever the best choice? on Friday January 29, 2016 @11:16AM (#10996030)
Is there a use case out there where the answer is definitely "No, you should not use MongoDB"? Yes.. there is. And so are other use cases where you have a multiple choice answer, mongo being one of them.

Re:Ask HN : legal use of trademark names on Friday October 18, 2013 @08:16AM (#6570934)
Thanks. I am not in the US no. I will look at other uses.

I have read this article and as far as i can see my game using the real names wouldn't fall under any of the "bad" usage trademark infringement," "trademark dilution," "trademark tarnishment,"and "defamation.". But I would still want a second opinion even before taking it up with a trademark lawyer :)

Ask HN : legal use of trademark names

I am making a game. And in the game you can get different rewards for being a "gangster", like cars, watches etc. Is it legal (not infringing) to name the cars by name for example BMW, Bugatti, Ferrari etc. or not?

You realize that repeating something clever wears off the novelty and ultimately becomes just very annoying?
Re:Ask HN: How to process credit card payments on Tuesday July 23, 2013 @06:16AM (#6089130)
I think the fees from all the mentioned providers are way too much. Usually the bank pos fees are 1,8-1,9%. So the only solution that I see is actually processing payments myself. That's why I'm looking for more information on how that's done.

I would need it to work all over Europe so I'm waiting for the more complicated atuff :)

Ask HN: How to process credit card payments

Hello HN. First question here so if possible take it easy on me :)Main question is how can one start to process payments from many to many. Does one work directly with visa api or through a bank? And what are the security conditions that one would need to abide by(nuclear resistant datacenter etc).Thank you in advance.
