Re:J: an alternative to cd that learns where you spend time on Wednesday February 18, 2009 @09:32AM (#485777)
Add a line to the end of your ~/.bashrc file with:

    . $HOME/.bash/j.sh
(Change that path to point to wherever j.sh is, though ~/.bash is probably a good place for it.)
Re:See(), an alternative to Python's dir() on Wednesday February 18, 2009 @09:09AM (#485751)
This was only intended as an alternative, not a replacement -- dir() is still extremely useful. see() was made for quickly inspecting objects interactively, hence "for humans only".
