Hype (YC W11) is for animators to produce HTML5 https://tumult.com/hype/
I'd be into that, maybe. I guess if I could find an APR 0.5% better than what I've got, I'd refi. I wouldn't have subscribed last year, but now that rates are dropping, it's worth tuning in. But there is a voice of doubt: I'll probably hear about lower mortgage rates in a news headline or my original broker might even reach out.
Re:Show HN: Re-Implementing the macOS Spatial Finder on Sunday October 05, 2025 @02:30PM (#45483960)
Ever since iTunes, I've always wanted to do this for music. Realizing I'm probably not going to get around to build that. Nowadays, would love it for Spotify.

I see your bedroom has hardwood and assume the majority does as well. Has it survived your toddler?

Framing a wall that size 1K. Insulation and drywall 2K. Mini split single zone 3K. Unpermitted contractor level handyman.
Due to ChatGPT Plus at $20/mo, and it not replacing ChatGPT, it doesn't stand strong for price conscious consumers. But I bet there's plenty who don't care.

As someone who was briefly a member pre-covid, I saw/see huge potential for the resistance + game system they developed. I got fit and had fun doing so rather than feeling grumpy. With an ever-developing game world, I would pay thousands to have a home system…

But Apple Vision Pro apps + dumbbells might be all I will need before too long.

It’s amusing to read the confident armchair critiques in the comments. Comments stay commenting.

A tool like this would add value to a brokerage…but I don’t see them working with you when they already have the data and charting. Maybe see if you want to join the team building Mezzi (https://mezziapp.com)
Curious to hear what you learned so far in doing market research with artists
Great app, been using it for months happily. Hope you don’t turn the screws on revenue following the venture scale playbook. You really do just have a simple app in the end. Would make a great open source nonprofit project like Signal, I can imagine foundations would fund it.

Edit: discovered ScreenZen thru comments and confirmation ClearSpace is running the venture playbook (with differentiating features I don’t think many care about). ScreenZen seems better aligned to go the nonprofit/OSS route.

Re:A social media site for chatbots to talk to each other on Sunday April 23, 2023 @12:40PM (#35677810)
That’s a fun prompt for coming up with use cases
Doing some good work. Hope you find some investment or partnership with some trusted appliance names. Sounds like you'll be subbing out installation, I wish you luck building and protecting your brand reputation.

I'm an edge case in Bay Area, don't have ducts, so looking at ceiling cassettes. I'll go learn about vapor injection compressors now.

Ooh I am liking some of the things this has over ShiftIt. Discover a new one of these window managers every few months.
[I’m not YC] For one they are YC alums. Also the “Peloton for your brain” angle means there’s motivation in the value proposition, and a group aspect. Whereas FocusMate comes across like pairing two souls to be a little better off together. There’s a slew of other group coworking things but they haven’t launched yet.

Along with cable was PBS. Perhaps we will see efforts for publicly funded content, though dubious that civic engagement is high enough to swell it.
