Anyone that uses CC payment provider with low txn fees (>2%) on their website which also allows for transfer of payments abroad? I need to integrate new CC payments in my website as the current CC payment provider don't allow transfers to foreign bank accouts and I'm planning to move my business to Dubai soon.
TIA

I've read that Aluminum is used in medicine as a catalyst, in toothpast as an abrasive, its in your dental cement, used as food additives, in your cooking utensils, used in vaccines as an adjuvant, etc. Some say Aluminum is linked to Alzheimer's, types of cancer, and now even autism. Could modern life in the west cause toxic levels of aluminum in our bodies? Sodium-rich water can supposedly detox your body from aluminum, personally I drink water with a very high Sodium content, unfortunaltly some of the brands contain a lot of fluoride - you just can't win :) ...
So, you can run Comdb without SQLite?
I see Comdb2 requries SQLite to install. So, I'm guessing Comdb2 is a distributed storage engine for SQLite, or?
I've been kind of negative to VR until I worked on the Microsoft HoloLens for some clients, and now I'm convinced that Mixed Reality(MR) is the way of the future and not VR. Sure, the current HoloLens has some disadvantages like a small field-of-view and a high price tag, but I'm sure that these things will be improved in future editions. This video shows someone playing Portal using the HoloLens, which also shows off its spatial awareness capabilities:

Very cool with small code pieces that does a lot. I was a big fan of the Amiga Boot sector intro's back in the 80-90s where the programmers had to make entertaining pieces of digital art where compiled code, music, and graphics all had to fit inside 1 KB boot sector of a 3.5" floppy disks. Here are some examples

Remember that from when I was a teen, the first crack took months after the initial release and came on like 20 disks, while the retail game was on 10 disks. Kevin R. Kachikian is the name on the patent, currently he is CTO at Amuse Inc. according to his LinkedIn page - must be a very smart guy.

Very nice. Thanks for posting this.
Very sad. I was a huge fan even before the Alien movies.
Good for web browser demos of how to do stuff in a Bash shell.

About two years ago I overheard some preteen kids talking about them leaving Facebook when their parents joined and added them as friends. I'm guessing they don't want their parents too much involved in their social life.
I suspect it uses DBPedia too. Me like :) This could really be something useful, personally Wolfram Alpha is way too noisy information-wise for me to use.
Hi Jerry. SPARQL is the SparkleDB query language.
SparkleDB NoSQL database server is a horizontally distributed, real-time, performance-critical, highly available, and large-scale software solution capable of handling Big Data. Fast. Transactional. Both ACID and in-memory (we let you choose). Acts as a single logical database unit, even though it may consist of hundreds of physical computers located in the same physical location-or dispersed over a network of interconnected computers. Autonomous horizontal scaling. No single point of failure. Concurrent access, crash recovery & repair. Federated queries. Semantic schema-less data model and a powerful declerative semantic query language that are both international standards. Remotely connect to the database using a built-in RESTful API over HTTP or use our JDBC or ODBC drivers. Works on Windows, UNIX, and Linux. We're based out of Sunnyvale, California. Learn more at
