This is so complicated, I would have to install mcp-adapter to Pi etc. I just have a public github repo with my Pi setup https://github.com/igorkulman/pi-skills

I use https://github.com/ZingerLittleBee/Heeler on iOS, works OK, but needs to be installed via TestFlight, not released yet.
Re:Portal by Spotify cut my Claude Code token usage by 90% on Saturday September 05, 2026 @04:26PM (#49580330)
Kind of bullshit, instead of cutting Claude Code token usage by 90% it is cutting Claude Code file read token usage by delegating reads to Gemini flash (with its own usage) and trusting the summary of files it provides is not crap.

Senior iOS engineer with 10+ years of experience building and shipping native mobile applications.

I've worked on security and privacy-focused products including Proton VPN and Teamwire. My experience includes large long-lived UIKit codebases, real-time messaging, networking, persistence, application architecture, and maintaining production apps over many years.

Outside work I design and ship my own apps. Recent projects include Yomu, a Japanese reading app with adaptive furigana and an offline dictionary, and Setsumei, which analyzes Japanese sentences and explains their grammar.

Looking primarily for a senior iOS / Apple-platform product role. I'm also interested in AI-native developer tooling and engineering-productivity roles where strong software engineering experience is more important than an ML background.

EU citizen. Open to full-time or B2B.

Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026) on Sunday August 09, 2026 @03:16PM (#49234670)
I am working on another iOS to help me learn Japanese, this time for explaining grammar. Put in a Japanese sentence, tap Analyze and you get grammar detected, highlighted, explained. There is a public testflight if anyone is interested https://setsumeiapp.kulman.sk/
Re:The Omega Seamaster Professional 300M that surprised me on Saturday July 25, 2026 @02:54AM (#49045144)
I paid only about 1000€ after a bit of negotiations for that one in the post because it had no box, no papers but it was from a trusted seller from a local watch forum.
Re:How to setup a local coding agent on macOS on Wednesday June 17, 2026 @03:33AM (#48567029)
Yeah, I meant using Pi with the local qwen model vs when I was using claude with sonnet or codex with gpt
Re:How to setup a local coding agent on macOS on Monday June 15, 2026 @02:57PM (#48545524)
What do you mean by new philosophy? I use Pi the same way I used gpt or sonnet, just for simpler tasks.
Re:How to setup a local coding agent on macOS on Sunday June 14, 2026 @08:42AM (#48526695)
yeah, I am using Pi right now, I switched from OpenCode
Re:How to setup a local coding agent on macOS on Sunday June 14, 2026 @08:42AM (#48526690)
No issues with OpenCode and the Qwen models. Some issues with Pi because it uses different tool calling format, but I solved that with an extension.
