Is your code in the format of bsky-social-xxxxx? If so, they've been revoked and replaced with longer codes because people reported that their codes getting brute-forced.

Not banned. It looks like they’ve simply wiped their account and redirected the profile to Mastodon.
This would be a really cool 4D-chess move if it were to actually play out like that.
Re:Mastodon's Twitter account has been suspended on Thursday December 15, 2022 @07:11PM (#34007706)
Confirmed. The last snapshot in the Wayback Machine shows that they tweeted a link to @ElonJet on Mastodon before being suspended: http://web.archive.org/web/20221215173935/https://twitter.co...

Part of me wonders if this was an intentional move on Mastodon’s part to make it look like Elon is silencing competitors.

The author is merely a new member of the space and not representative of staff. I’m sure the staff would know better what that number is!

I have a bookmark of their mobile web app on my phone’s home screen now. Works great as a replacement if you don’t mind losing features like push notifications and the ability to speak in Spaces! It also has the benefit of tweet drafts syncing from your other web browsers.

Twitter suspends your account if you remove your phone number

I found out two weeks ago after removing it because I thought it was no longer needed after I switched away from SMS-based 2FA. No warning or anything at all in the UI that indicated the removal would result in a suspension, and they don't even let you go back to your settings to re-add it!

Similar projects have been inspired by this. Someone made a version of this, but for GitHub: https://github.audio

And another, but for Twitter: https://iora.live (disclaimer: I'm the author)

Re:Show HN: Hack Club Finder – Find Hack Clubs Near You on Sunday December 17, 2017 @01:14PM (#15946865)
"Hack Clubs are high school clubs where students learn to code and build amazing things together." - hackclub.com

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. Finder serves as a way for clubs to discover other clubs in their area and have them hack together.

Finder also helps newly-formed clubs find existing clubs near them, so they can connect to those clubs for support guidance.

If you don't see a Hack Club in your area, be the first to start one! Apply at https://hackclub.com/apply!
