It should be also noted, that you can write your own network stack on Linux with the help of AF_XDP[1].

[1] https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v6.9/networking/af_xdp.html

It is also possible with uBlock Origin and it even works on Firefox Android.
You're my man, I'm thinking about the same! E.g. Look at TIPC.

I'm sad that there is no PR2040 PRU on board.

Cannot used legally.
I think it depends on the business you run. To be honest, I would not mind building a billing system if my company grows to an unicorn!

Xfce is really the best. Minimalistic, good looking.

I only miss 3 column tiling on my ultra wide screen.

So true and traurig.

Nice to see people are considering other languages than python.

Unfortunately pipes don't cover all kind of IPC we use today.

AC has the great advantage of being well supported. However, scratchpad calculations can't prove that.
Re:Common mistakes in salary negotiation on Wednesday August 23, 2023 @02:22PM (#37240116)
You refuse to do any unpaid "interview project" jobs. I'm not doing any "test projects" that are longer than 4h.

The most important advice is: let them talk first. There are two cases: 1) You'll get more than you expected. Good for you. 2) You'll get an offer for less than your expectation. You'll see how much your work is worth for the company. Maybe it's time to submit your CV elsewhere.

Having `derive(Debug)` is the dream of all C devs.
Proudly using Latex for PDF generation!

I like it.
Haha, that's a good one. The market for Pis is the industry since long time ago.
Yes, thank you 4 is indeed in the right direction.
Thank you for the reply. I'm explicitly looking for something without IP.

Ask HN: Any lightweight protocol on top of Ethernet without TCP/IP?

Hi there, I'm looking for a protocol that is directly on top of Ethernet without TCP/IP. The goal is that an FPGA board can directly communicate with a Linux PC or and STM32 without the need of complete TCP/IP stack.I was looking into TIPC [1] over Ethernet, but it seems also complex to implement in FPGA.Do you know any suggestions?[1]: http://tipc.io/

Lora is not an alternative because of literally no data volume.
Sure, keeping up with all the new fancy Chrome standards is hard.

Even Mozilla can't do it.

You're my friend, I'm just looking for the same!
That looks awesome for RPI home server.
OMG, same here!
Thank you f-droid for having a consistent UI since years.
If you want some simpler, here is mypaas.

Really cool for one-server deployments!
