A keyframe animation editor for native app components. Wrap your views in a special type, and load up the editor to drag around keyframes.

Hi! This is a truly experimental project but the goal is something closer to Replit for native swift than Claude Code.

I hacked it together in a weekend it's not that serious.

An Audio workstation with a Git like branching model.

It's free for local use (meaning no cloud sync, or collaboration features: merge requests)

I lost too many songs over the years, so I built a DAW with version control

Hey HN, Somewhere on a dead hard drive from 2014 is the best thing I ever wrote. I don't remember exactly how it went. I just remember the feeling of it. That's the moment I keep coming back to. Not when I decided to build this thing—that came later—but the reason underneath it. A decade of making music means a decade of scattered project files, dead drives, folders named "old stuff DO NOT...

So it has the default AU plugins that are bundled with macOS.

I'm adding additional support for loading plugins. Eventually, I would like to add VST support but that's down the road a bit.

It has basic midi support, can use a controller, or edit with keyboard.

I have built it because I'm a musician. That being said I am interested in serving my customers / community and am open to what features would be needed / what user experience would be desired.

I am building an open source editor / runtime for mobile app animations. It works by leveraging the native animation frameworks, but unifies them with a single schema, and designer friendly editor.

What separates Inertia from the others? You can load in your real app, website, etc and animate components already existing within code.
