this should work well for chronic conditions. I am in a group of ppl with chronic condition and my entire family has chronic conditions. I can predict with 99% accuracy the doctors prescriptions and tests. There are only certain number of medication and certain number of things you can do for each stage and its all driven by blood tests.
Why did you pick this name? Vela is a popular hinglish slang.
Vella" (वेल्ला) is a North Indian/Delhi slang term for someone who is lazy, jobless, or has nothing productive to do (an idler or couch potato). Often used in Hinglish, it describes a person wasting time, similar to the word "loser" or someone with no work.
You can enter the program and if you don't like it you can always drop out and join slightly stable(Series B / Series C) startup. You will have amazing network. Startups by very definition in failure mode until they crack PM fit, especially the early stage one.
I completely understand what you are going through . I am in similar spot not cancer but chronic genetic condition that’s destroying my organ . The exhaustion is real .
is the stock liquid? checkout levels.fyi for senior / staff level compensation.
came to say exactly this. We are not even at neutral yet.
Proton email servers are in Geneva I believe. But isn't that better than being in the US?
Have you thought about buying a business? Take a look at websites like microacquire and see if that fits your lifestyle.
typical bonuses in bay area are percentage of salaries. Varies between 10% to 25% of your base. This looks like a retention grant which is also fairly common.
Incorrect. You don't have to be rich. I am currently being evaluated for deceased donor transplant outside my home state of California. You just have to register at another center and you are allowed to multi list. Some states have residency requirements but lot of them do not.
The average lifespan of deceased donor kidney is 10 to 15 years and for live donor is around 15 to 20 years. People normally get multiple transplants throughout their lives.

The facebook outage got me to thinking, What if there is a social media app that only works one hour a day. It does sound like a stupid idea, but what do people think?
it typically goes for about 24 to 36 times your monthly revenue.
My kidneys are failing as well. I am currently being evaluated to be on transplant list. Artificial kidney is an exciting development. It wont replace the need for transplant but will definitely improve quality of life for people on dialysis.
Me and most of my friends had credit cards when we were in grad school. Amex had that student blue card issued. Most of my cohort used that card to build credit and move on to better cards. Universities also have a student union which issues credit card to students. Is this not the target market for this card?
How is this different from Jira Epics ? You can always run a report in jira to figure this out?
Can I contact you ? If so how?
Whats the pain point that "blocked by" is trying to solve? Let's say the google analytics or marketo munchkin scripts are blocked by Ad Blocker, what's the marketing team supposed to do?
Are you on dialysis? Are you working full time? Is there a way I can contact you via email?
I was very excited to see this but after looking at the nutrition details, I was dismayed.
Upma 1 serving has 660 mg of sodium. Khichdi has 1760 mg of sodium. The daily requirement is 2300 mg of Sodium and if you are hyper tensive the requirements are lesser. Is there a reason it has such a high sodium content?
The pricing also seems high to me. I think your should rethink pricing. For staple items like khichdi, upma you should drop the pricing. I am confident that you will make it up with volume. If you price staple breakfast and dinner items too high, you will drive away your core customer base of Indian students. You want Indian students to buy your items in bulk for a month. Will a Indian student spend 200 dollars per month (20 * 10 (1 khichdi + 1 upma)) on your food items? You can use these staple items as lead gen tools to establish a long term relationship with your customers.

How are you building a List of potential leads ?
Whats your average deal size like?
Was your previous H1B counted against quota, if yes, you don't need to go through lottery again.
Is the AC21 and the 6 year H1B extension going to be revoked? If so, that would mean that without elimination of per country cap, over subscribed categories cannot get a Green Card?
I agree, it will be very hard to convince a CTO or any good engineer for that matter to join for even 20%, especially since you are pre revenue.
Alright, IMHO, you don't have a product market fit. For a B2B product, you need at least 10 paying customers before you can declare some sort of product market fit.
You won't have a "real" product market fit until you have 20 "solid" customers. "Solid" customers are less likely to churn and use your product on a regular basis. It always takes longer for the deals to close and the money to hit about bank accounts. Of course this depends on your deal size too.
As far as equity is concerned if you want a co founding CTO you need to part with at least 20%. The CTO should feel invested enough. With low equity, he/she is more likely to leave you on first signs of trouble or slow down.
How many paying customers do you have?
