Can you share more about the "sustainable packaging"?

The comic version of this is pretty great, too: https://twitter.com/sketchshark/status/941096945308770304
Re:Ask HN: I would pay X for Y on Monday November 06, 2017 @01:55AM (#15633818)
This is something I've considered doing for years after dealing with the likes of Clickbank, etc. I'd love to pick your brain for your requirements. How can I get in touch?
Re:World's oldest person Emma Morano dies at 117 on Sunday April 16, 2017 @01:25AM (#14124483)
Fun fact: The population of the world grew ~5x in her lifetime, from ~1.6B to ~7.5B.
Re:Ask HN: Successful one-person online businesses? on Sunday January 15, 2017 @02:57PM (#13406013)
This is awesome! Would love it if I could punch in my address/zip and get an idea of what to plant (I don't know what my climate qualifies as).
Re:Preact, a fast 3k React alternative on Thursday January 28, 2016 @11:28AM (#10989104)
Compared to React, what isn't available in Preact?
Re:The Dokku Trap on Sunday January 24, 2016 @01:00PM (#10963270)
Wait until you run out of disk while running PostgreSQL with dokku. That's an adventure I don't want to have to repeat.
Re:Things I would build if I worked at GitHub on Sunday August 09, 2015 @11:57PM (#10032572)
Last I checked, this doesn't actually work with the way *.github.io is set up.
Re:Things I would build if I worked at GitHub on Wednesday August 05, 2015 @04:59PM (#10012824)
While that's true, I think the discussion in that issue has gone more towards HTTPS support for custom domains.
Re:Things I would build if I worked at GitHub on Wednesday August 05, 2015 @04:42PM (#10012712)
Great tip, but unfortunately that doesn't work for private repos.
Re:Things I would build if I worked at GitHub on Wednesday August 05, 2015 @04:17PM (#10012528)
Maybe a more apt title would be "Things I would fix if I worked at GitHub". :)
Re:Dear Google Mail Team on Friday July 17, 2015 @05:51PM (#9905561)
We've been seeing a huge number of messages sent through Google Groups via our Google Apps domain flagged as spam. I'm not sure what has triggered it lately, but it's almost impossible for us to communicate through our Google Groups email addresses anymore.
Re:Ask HN: What project are you currently working on? on Wednesday July 15, 2015 @03:23PM (#9893471)
Currently working on a SaaS to help online furniture retailers (and eventually any retailer) increase customer engagement, conversions, and lower returns.

On the weekends, I'm working on a super easy photo-prints-on-demand service: https://keepsakemail.com/

Connect to Instagram - pick photos - enter payment and shipping details. One flat rate shipped anywhere. Reply to your email receipt and mention this HN comment and I'll refund half of your payment as a discount :)

Re:Ask HN: What project are you currently working on? on Wednesday July 15, 2015 @03:15PM (#9893414)
Awesome. I nearly built something similar a while back. Glad someone's finally doing it!
Thanks! Happy to refund your purchase under $10 if you'd like to try it.
Many of my friends and family use Instagram and I wanted to surprise them with photo-quality prints of their Instagram photos. I couldn't find a super simple solution that would let me do this, so I built one over a weekend or two.
Re:Pdfmake – PDF printing in pure JavaScript on Sunday May 31, 2015 @02:45PM (#9635085)
Thanks for clarifying!

Side note: Under the hood, PhantomJS uses wkhtmltopdf. You can probably save yourself some overhead using the wkhtmltopdf binary directly.
Re:Stripe enters Asia with Japan beta launch on Tuesday May 19, 2015 @01:13AM (#9568237)
How do taxes work in that case?

Ask HN: PO box or mailing address for digital nomads?

Are there any available solutions for a permanent PO box/mailing address for digital nomads? A place to have mail delivered, digitally scanned, with the option of opening (for scanning) or forwarding?I remember watching Earth-Class Mail featured on the Startup Junkies series in 2008, but it looks like they haven't changed much since their initial launch.

Re:New npm website on Tuesday December 09, 2014 @06:05PM (#8726462)
Looks great!

Search could still be vastly improved by adding some sort of "activity" rating that factors in last update with number of recent downloads and sort search results by most active. That way we can make use of well-supported and/or actively maintained modules rather than dead ones.

Re:Incident Report – DDoS Attack on Wednesday December 03, 2014 @05:46AM (#8692959)
Curious to hear more about this.
Re:AngularJS 1.3.0 on Tuesday October 14, 2014 @05:52AM (#8452656)
I felt the same, and then I found Vue: http://vuejs.org/
I built a little prototype for a 24-hour Meteor Hackathon:

https://callmemaybe.meteor.com/

Unfortunately, the Connect API was a bit confusing to implement, so you actually have to paste in your API key.

My goal is to rewrite it soon with basic features like call forwarding, blocking, etc.
