Is that why he's measuring his bone at night... wait.
Maybe it's just a TV shopping gimmick that only has a negligible effect. My bet would be that it does much less than any actual loading of bones and muscles.
Edit: I missed that it was prescribed, so maybe it does have a serious effect after all.
Someone mentioned that Kodi takes screenshots and phones home? Not sure what's true, but better check before installing.
Never heard of this brand. I guess I must be poor :D
(German in Germany)
Well if you expressly install malware on your PC (not referring to the LG driver), then you really shouldn't care about the TV breaking privacy.
You should only ever have hardware visible in the internal network, no need to put them on the Internet at all.

Wouldn't it literally be as simple as hosting a ppa archive with your custom kennel on it and adding that ppa to all target systems?
It's all the same carotene, but you absorb less from plants (unless juiced or souped and combined with fat, then you will absorb a ton). And plants produce plenty - nutrient poor soil only refers to minerals.
The body also reduces conversion of BC to vitamin A, but that is no binary off switch.
Not sure where you get your safety buffer from. People certainly get symptoms from less.
I wonder if you can sort of decompile the assembly into basic blocks first, and then only run LLMs on batches of those basic blocks.
How would they know who's the original author or what the rights situation is?
In Germany they considered shooting humans problematic, so we got "Probotector" with robots instead, lol. They did that for the whole franchise.
Yes. Whatever "over processed" means.
People get far too much of it (IIRC there even was a Polish study that kids already have a way too high intake), large parts of the population in most Western countries are liver toxic avoiding to analysis of accident victims, it significantly increases your osteoporosis risk, many people (anecdotally, including me) experience lots of health improvements after reducing their intake, and so on.
Probably also caused by other aspects of American wheat (many "sensitive" people notice they can eat bread in Europe just fine), such as higher glyphosate content, fortification with nasty stuff like vitamin A, possibly others.
The article mentions other benefits, such as many Italian farmers lost their harvest in the drought of 2024, while many traditional grains fared better in the dry climate and could be harvested.
Maybe you had full grain pasta? That is indeed... questionable, doesn't matter if spelt or wheat.
Many people might not know that ARM the company behind pretty much all phone CPUs (at least historically) was founded as Acorn Risc Machines and built their own computers with their own RISC OS.
I know almost nothing about it, so I will give your links a read.
No, Docker transformed the systems architecture such that system administration works completely differently now.
Docker is still a skill if you want to build your containers without AI help.
The thing is that the learning curve for any tech has never been easier. You can ask a question and AI will help/tell you which command can answer that question. You can write that down. You can poke around the system.
You can ask how your current automation code handles XYZ situation to get a better understanding, then ask if a code patch (you're working on) would help with ABC (i.e. get it reviewed), and so on.
It has never been easier to be a junior dev.
The point about needing manual "practice" is on point, yes, you need hands-on time.
To me it's not nostalgia, the system felt truly great to use. Haven't met anything as good since then.
And while I agree that Steve Jobs and Next were the right business (and people) choice, I still mourn the loss of a much better UI (never been a fan of the Mac UI, and it's my daily at-work system).
As mentioned in another thread above: you can get similar(?) tabs in Fluxbox on Linux.
I'm not familiar with Be API, but I did a lot of GUI dev in Java Swing back in the day. It's not that hard in principle, you launch whatever background op in whatever threads you like, and any GUI updates have to be done by sending messages back to the GUI event thread (or something like Swing.invokeLater(closure)).
Yep, reeeally nice feature, used it on Linux. After that I wondered why apps bothered to implement their own tabbing when you could just stack Windows as tabs (assuming more WMs would adopt that feature).
To me BeOS was and is still the best looking desktop OS ever, and it was so fast, it felt so good. I think in 2000ish (when it was released freely) I used it on my PC pretty much exclusively for a few months.
Maybe similarly cringe as the Russian cartoon movie about the first dogs in space. I think it was called Space Dogs.
That looks really nice, including the VSCode/Mac wrapper.
Probably a good idea to only run LLMs with a dedicated user account, or in a container.
True, I lived in viper-mode for quite a while.
But when you talk editor names, you should really rather name it "Ed".
Ed is the standard Unix text editor.
