I am interested in learning about why companies out there are using the HTML5 Notifications APIs correctly for their use case and in understanding why do you think they are doing a good job at it?
For e.g. Amazon is doing a good job at it to alert the user that their package has been shipped/delivered.

May be we shouldn't time cap it. May 'until' they prove themselves would be more appropriate.
University setup has lot to get inspired from.

Agreed, I like the way they have embedded startup mentality within itself, you dont see this with many other VCs.

I am in a similar boat, I need some time to work on my project and introspect on the actual product before I can even think about growth not to mentioned growth on steroids is months/a year away. I was targeting for YC16 or later, but I still applied thinking YC community may help with the feedback and vendors (its a hardware project/startup), and overall pointing me in the correct direction.
Totally possible, it might be for the battery or for may be its not buying but just sharing of technology. For. e.g. give battery technology and take dashboard technology.

Same here, I have tried various approaches, but couldn't settle on any. I loved the idea of bullet journaling. I am doing something similar, glad to put name to its face :)

Out of curiousity, why would you not use input type="email" instead?
Valid points, but instead of complaining, we need to understand why these trends are coming back? For. e.g. back in a days hit counter were a sign of credibility and popularity, popups are to grab user's attention (there is no excuse to auto play video!) same way twitter followers are displayed to show how popular the user is, popups and modal screens are used to say this is a different context (per say). Even though they are misused just for the sake of a developer doing 'cool stuff'. We should figure out is there more creative way to address these ?
I still dont get it, sounds like: 'look! ebay employees are also dabbling with node'.
What did you actually build? Is it your hackathon project 'Talk' that you build on node, or was it something else?
Ok, relax, I am sorry, I haven't done that much bad karma in life. Here is to point out that, everything is inevitable but we must still give credits to those who has brought it up to us, sometimes in faster way and sometimes bolder ways.
Yeah, dont credit Apple for ipod, iphone or ipad, dont credit Mark Zukerberg for social networking, Bill Gates to bring philanthropy to main stream, a government to find the terrorist of Boston attacks, It was all inevitable!

Kids at CES, sucky LifeFyre comment box, and a stupid hotspot article about nothing, Are they deliberately trying to go down?
WTF! Thats exactly the same as SixthSense, the gesture inteface by MIT labs (they decided to be open). Google have no right to patent this.
If only the view was not blocked by a zillion ads!
Tent.is looks great! And really impressed with Tent protocol (Didnt know about it before)
