It is you and this other person that are making this claim.

Provide the evidence to support your claim.

Or, just for fun...name 10 other genuinely "right-wing" figures they have on.

Re:The BBC on the Rack on Saturday April 04, 2020 @07:18AM (#22777607)
Generally, I think "the bbc" is centre-left (upper-middle-class flavoured).

Their positions on most issues conform to that faction.

Re:The BBC on the Rack on Saturday April 04, 2020 @07:07AM (#22777563)
What about the rest of the organisation?
Re:The BBC on the Rack on Saturday April 04, 2020 @06:56AM (#22777533)
That is not ironic.

How many other right wing guests did they invite?

This is typical la-di-da lefty nonsense, thinking you can deflect from your negative behaviour by presenting shallow statistics.

Hey, guys! isnt like so funny cuz...look at the number!

The BBC routinely imposes their favoured races onto representations of British history and culture. I suppose that is "right wing". Is that what you are getting at?

Re:Show HN: Quill – Messaging for teams that focus on Thursday April 02, 2020 @03:54PM (#22763012)
2 cents...

I think you should call it QwertyQuill. Better suits the colour scheme, tone of the copy, product, market etc.

the logo should be a keyboard button with a quill on it.

(as you know) This is a very competitive market. You should lean into being the good-times-vibe-work-chat-app choice, be genuinely counter-culture, I don't mean put a gay flag on your social media profile. Get those eco-groups (the weird ones) using your app, get alt-right groups (not the ones that have killed people) using your app, fandoms, femdoms etc. Be proud of it, broadcast it, make sure you are the weird chat app people.

Re:Ask HN: Are .io domains out of style? on Thursday April 02, 2020 @03:34PM (#22762790)
diagrams.io is taken..probably squatted..it was likely very expensive. diagrams.co seems to be $10,000. diagrams.com is $20,000 at least.

The hip domain is .so Somalia

Oh, what textbook are you reading?

You not being aware of something does not mean it does not exist.

What is this political ideology of mine you are identifying?

The comment is not dog whistling...people need to stop misusing political terminology. It renders words meaningless. Considering that you depend upon hiding behind words, it is best not to deconstruct your own shield.
At least 150 years of politics.
Yes, earlier actions definitely should have been taken.

Interestingly, there seems to be a collective delusion developing about when the action could of/should of been taken. Late January...early February...really? That long?

I'm not in the U.S. And I'm not interested in starting a flame-war. By all means, research these ideologies yourself.

I was answering the poster's question with my opinion. You do not have to like it.

A few weeks. This is an over-reaction.

The push for suppressing entire populations for months and years are coming from those that want to dis-empower these populations the rest of the time.

If by "normal" you mean the neo-liberal/neo-marxist agenda "progressing"... that is increasingly unlikely

"In addition" This means in addition.

You are arguing in bad faith. You do not even need to argue.

I was being non-confrontational.
OK, I suppose this is good reporting, but it is not the scandal you think it is.

Also, etoro does a lot more than cryptocurrency-trading.

Edit: This is a repost too. Interestingly the title of the other post "Brave Browser earning commissions promoting high risk blockchain platform" less click-baity got 2 points, 1 comment.

Re:Ask HN: What have you noticed people spending money on? on Saturday March 21, 2020 @04:40PM (#22649876)
Alcohol (tonic as well, i'm in the UK though)

:) I just posted a link showing search topic trends entitled "elderberry, ETFs, Zerohedge, Zoom" People also searched for aloe vera, Microsoft teams etc. https://explodingtopics.com/topics-this-month

I think the comment was alluding to the unpopularity of these figures within the "intelligentsia". This group has been making politicised statements masquerading as authoritative announcements quite often. This group love these interjections and the people that follow them do to. But they have sowed distrust.

The person is making a fair point, but cocking it up a bit.

I enjoyed your comment, but it is an unfair criticism of the article. The subject of the article is not Henry Ford, the subject is his $5 a day wages. It's a business article (vaguely economic) not a historical account.

Will probably buy that book though. Thanks.

Re:Ask HN: What makes an online course amazing? on Sunday March 15, 2020 @10:34AM (#22583674)
2 cents:

I think the internet is the best way to distribute information, but for me one of the worst places to learn.

If the learning is solely done via the computer I will fail to even get near to completing the course (self-study, no pressure). But by using pens, paper, books etc, my ability gets to a normal level.

So, encourage them to behave close to the way they do in your classes.
