Re:Ask HN: How are you using your Raspberry Pi? on Tuesday August 02, 2022 @04:33PM (#32323938)
Can you explain the first usecase in more detail to me? I don't understand what's different in it compared to normal downloading.

I would love to see what those UIs looked like, but I'm completely unfamiliar with it. What should I search on Google to get proper results?
Thanks! I didn't think about searching on fdroid.

Why does Google do this? Now I wonder what good apps I can't find due to them not being updated.

Why is IE still in use and what's stopping people from switching over to something new?

What do you mean by smart bookmarks?

Is the custom Google search engine same as the main one in terms of its algorithm?
You could also just do:

Consider using the "Minimal Twitter" browser extension. That solved for me the issue you're dealing with.

Or try element picker from ublock origin.

When was this shipped? I have no idea why this is a thing now, but it's incredibly annoying.

Can't access the site. I get this error:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.simonweckert.com. Peer’s certificate has an invalid signature.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE

- The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

- Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Why not provide a toggle that allows unfiltered results for those who want that?

This way, they can both filter out propaganda away from those who might be vulnerable and still let those who want it have it.

Please link some. I'd like to take a look.
Sounds like a good suggestion. Have you considered emailing @dang with this feature request on [email protected]?
Not sure if this helps, but there's many userstyles you can apply to hide reputation points.
Can you elaborate more? I want to how you'd want them to update the API to suit your needs.
