Well said
Re BitMEX it wasn’t included in this report because the report focuses on spot markets but agree it’s very relevant and will be the topic of future research.

Re Huobi, there is strong evidence of material falsified

pump and dump can take place in small cap equities as well. it will never be impossible - the thing thats needed is the regulation / surveillance to do enforcement on those who perpetrate it
Thanks for looking through it!

The fact that this is self funded is extraordinary
Re:Books to Read in a Lifetime on Sunday February 09, 2014 @01:39AM (#7204658)
What's the criteria? This is totally opaque as a list. I agree that some of these books are epic but don't know where the decisions are coming from.
Why is price point not a valid way to sell a product?

Remember why Henry Ford was such a big deal?

Re:Built a portfolio site — is it good? Feedback? on Tuesday January 07, 2014 @07:43PM (#7021014)
Yup. Super helpful. Like the variation idea.

As far as the modal, could you point me to a tutorial on that if you know of one?

Re:Bitcoin, Magical Thinking, and Political Ideology on Wednesday December 18, 2013 @05:42PM (#6931419)
Wow. This is a very thorough argument. Many of the people I know (I'm studying at Wharton right now) that see bitcoin as nonsense don't think it deserves the time it would take to produce an essay like this (which is fair). I'm glad someone wrote it.

Re:Why don't more people play video games? on Tuesday December 03, 2013 @06:41PM (#6844028)
Why do you think games are unable to stay interesting even though Chess has never had to change and the movie industry finds a way to be interesting every year?
Re:Why don't more people play video games? on Tuesday December 03, 2013 @06:40PM (#6844025)
Where did that stigma come from?
Re:Why don't more people play video games? on Tuesday December 03, 2013 @06:39PM (#6844023)

I think these are interesting points.

Two clips you might find interesting: - Brian Wong of Kiip talking about how Counter Strike made him good at photoshop (I don't think this is a serious counter arguement to your point): http://youtu.be/BAx7Npsrin4?t=4m40s

- Gabe Newell (Valve) and JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias, Star Trek) talking about similarities/differences between narrative in video games and movies, and at the end announcing that they're working together on one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7mihllgiro
