You heard it here first folks. None of us know anything.
Re:Is the tech bubble popping? Ping pong offers an answer

Likely people who enjoy taking a break at some point during the day and also enjoy playing ping pong? I don't see how going outside to "get some sun" is objectively any better in general.

For those that haven't seen the slideset: http://www.alexstjohn.com/WP/download/Recruiting%20Giants.pd...
Also, a discussion on reddit from yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/recruitinghell/comments/4faadv/prog...
At some point, I thought it had to be a parody, but apparently people like Alex St. John exist and actually believe what they say. This has to be some of the most vile stuff I've read coming from an industry veteran in a while.

For anyone that is unaware, "hit count" functionality has been present in GitHub for at least several months. If anyone is interested in a more personal tagging service, there is Astral (http://astralapp.com/). Shame it isn't open source though.

Out of all of the exciting news coming from Redmond this past year, this has somehow taken the cake for me. In 2013, even suggesting Windows on Raspberry Pi could be a possibility would've gotten you laughed out of the room, and for it now to be actually happening made me take more than a few double-takes.
Re:Problems With the Python 3 Ecosystem

I don't understand how a single anecdote about a packaging issue on a single distro is being used to draw the conclusion that "Python 3 Isn't Being Used More".
