3rd party libraries are attack vectors and if like many many people you’re only using one or two functions then it’s much better to get rid of them.
Company A will accept funds to buy some stock like MSFT, then they will mint a token i.e. xMSFT that you'll own in a blockchain ledger. You can trade this for whatever you want but the company promises to buy any token xMSFT at MSFT price whenever you want[1]. So the tokenized asset remains pegged as long as there's trust in the institution.
Also, the company will grow a balance sheet out of the funds created by the owners of the tokens and they frequently will give you some sort of yield on your position.

Highly doubt it. Remember how cursor would never save or train or customer’s sessions and then got acquired by SpaceX because of their large coding training dataset ?
OpenAI to this day is not aware if they solved or not Navier Stokes.
Mathematicians are not gate keepers but I understand the frustration. If someone claims they spent 30 million dollars to solve one of the most difficult problems yet there’s no new knowledge, understanding, nor certainty. Then what’s the point besides marketing?
Not saying that these are the only two options, just that it could be worse.
I’ll rather know my taxes where used for a Ferrari in someone’s collection than in two or three javelin missiles thrown who knows where.
Why are you so angry about other people not wanting to buy a deceiving product?
Not judging but I don’t understand why anyone would read pas the first point in “Really Bad”.
About your second point.
I bet you enjoy when a peer asks you to find the issues in a fully AI generated PR that’s 95% of the way there.
I’m not sure this is a real product.
I know it’s satire but your comment made me think about the engineers working at Flock I’d bet most of them feel ashamed of it even in front of acquaintances.
AI assisted work is fine, Using any form of Microsoft Copilot is not.
If a contractor told me they use copilot I wouldn’t trust their judgment anymore.
try a couple times and you’ll start getting much better than coin toss.
So the solution is to make the company that can’t avoid sub-AGI models from going rouge to try RSI?
Also, AI performance has proven to be a function of power and compute, and right now most of the compute lies between two companies rushing towards RSI not because they are afraid someone is going to do this before but because they are the ones who wants to build it.
Autonomous killing machines and mass surveillance.
What makes you think the company that pirated a big portion of all copyrighted work will care about this checkbox?
At best they’ll “anonymize” the data before adding it to the corpus.
At least for me it’s quite easy to see them go into endless loops where no meaningful work is done and it just keeps going until I stop the process and tell it what to try instead.
To be fair it is no where near what we had just one year ago and the rate of change only seems to be increasing.
Also, I don’t have 30 million dollars to spare spawning tens of thousand sub agents like what they did with Navier-Stokes so I’m clearly not testing the full capabilities of these models.
You just described why the datacenter business is hard and as a corollary why space datacenters will not be economically viable.
Crazy to think that we have open weights capable of challenging trillion-dollar SOTA models.
Interesting times ahead.
Even if you were to optimally price in all available information you still have uncertainty of what will actually happen. i.e. A 1 dollar coin flip has an expected value of 50c before it’s thrown and it will collapse either to zero or to one after the uncertainty is resolved.
what if you develop manufacturing capabilities during the 30 years lifespan of the panels?
Yeah, but that doesn’t mean the west won’t try to catch up
Agree. A lot of easily verifiable truth claims would be instantly cataloged to be liberal thinking. Conservatism anti-science political opinions will always collide with models that try to answer to their best of their knowledge.
Note: I’m a centrist and strongly disagree with a lot of the ideology in the left and the right.
If you want to be a good denialist you’ll need better arguments my friend.
