I have recently finished my MSc in Computer Science and I'm looking for a full-time software engineering position. I don't have professional work experience. I like Java. I would love to contribute to something innovative, and I am also very willing to start getting my work experience in any field.

Willing to relocate: Within Germany – easy, outside – maybe, prefer in 1-2 years.

Technologies: Java (OpenCV), Python (Scikit-Learn), minor knowledge in C++, Haskell, EC

Resume/CV: on request – nothing exceptional in it.

I have a BSc in Computer Science, I will finish my MSc in Computer Science in a few months, I have no professional experience and I'm looking for a full-time Junior (Trainee) Software Engineering position so that I could fully concentrate on improving my practical skills and be useful for the company. I like back-end but I'm open to all options, my favourite language is Java but I know Python and it is reasonable to assume that I will have to learn new languages and frameworks that I will be using in a new professional environment.

Do you regret deleting FB or IG or any social media?

I have long been thinking about deleting my FB account after taking out all the info and datapoints. I have been actively using FB many years ago, I still have a lot of "friends on facebook" who I haven't really talked with in over 3-4 years, I still go to FB because it's a habit and all I get is the waste of time in groups about birds not being real. I feel the urge to delete FB to become more...

Is unfinished PhD worse than no PhD studies at all? On CV

I have found myself in a bit of a non-standard situation. Without going into details, is an unfinished PhD considered a "bad sign" on a CV? If having the choice between two different CVs, with literally all qualifications equal, except for an additional "unfinished PhD" line, will the CV without the unfinished PhD be seen as more favourable as the unfinished PhD signals a "failure"?
