Hi,I’m the founder of Chrome-Stats.com, a platform for tracking extension analytics and rankings. Through analyzing many extensions and building a number of them myself, I’ve seen how difficult it is to monetize Chrome extensions. Ads degrade the user experience, and subscription fatigue makes it hard to sell individual "Pro" plans. That’s why we built App Pass. The Concept: Think of it like Xbox...
I am the founder of Chrome-Stats. We just launched a marketplace for buying and selling Chrome extensions (https://chrome-stats.com/marketplace/forsale). Listing is 100% free. You can choose to reveal the listing to everyone (more visibility, but may have more spams), or to our premium members only (less visibility, but more targeted to serious buyers).
If you are interested in acquiring Chrome extensions, or selling your unmaintained extensions, then give it a try.
I am the founder of Chrome-Stats here. We just relaunched our extension (Extension Guard) to offer a more comprehensive solution for securing and managing your browser extensions.
Extension Guard is a cross-browser tool that simplifies managing extensions while focusing on security. It utilizes data from Chrome-Stats to provide insights into each extension’s risk level, permissions, and more.
Key Features Comprehensive Management: See all your installed extensions in one place. Easily enable, disable, or remove them with a click.
Risk Assessment: Each extension receives a risk level based on data from Chrome-Stats.
Permission Transparency: Find out what permissions each extension requires, like access to your tabs or browsing history.
Real-Time Notifications: Be alerted instantly when an extension is installed, updated, or removed, keeping you aware of any suspicious activity.
And yes, we are still working on quality improvement. So far it works best on slower song with simpler lyrics and without too much background noise. Having access to the published lyrics will likely enhance the transcription quality for sure. We will look into that if available.
Another feature on our roadmap is too allow users to make corrections. That will likely help in some cases where there are occasional quality issues.
Since ChatGPT came out, there have been a lot of AI chatbots and AI image generation tools coming out. Some may perform better than others in certain scenarios. Unfortunately they are each on their own platform, and requires separate registration (and subscription) for each of them, making it difficult to try them out.To address that, I created https://chatbotsplace.com/, which integrates many...
With the new Chrome Web Store, Google has removed the 10M cap. With that, we can finally get more insights into the top extensions. Here are the top 5:
#1) Google Docs Offline - 1.37B users #2) Adobe Acrobat - 205M #3) McAfee WebAdvisor - 83M #4) Application Launcher for Drive (by Google) - 83M #5) AdBlock - 69M
(See https://chrome-stats.com/top for the rest of the ranking)
I used to assume that AdBlock would claim the top 3 spots, since it has overwhelmingly more reviews than the other top extensions, but it is only ranked at #5. The top 4 extensions seem to be more like something that people did not even realize that they have installed (especially Google Docs Offline, which is shipped with Chrome).
Hi all,I would like to share my latest creation, https://browser-themes.com/, an online tool that allows users to create and customize their own Chrome themes in seconds. Users can search through millions of images (powered by Unsplash), and in one click, they can create a Chrome theme with the new tab background and color scheme based on that image.Advanced users can further customize a theme...
