> Personally speaking, I've never cared whether someone "validates" my emotions (and I often view such attempts as a bit patronizing or insincere). There's a problem to be solved, so let's attempt to solve it or at least compromise in good faith. The resolution to the problem is the most likely way to elicit positive emotions from me anyway.
It is so refreshing for me to read this because that's how I feel a lot of the time. I actually don't want someone to say "I understand where you're coming from", if they don't. That happens often in professional life and nearly always feels insincere. I'd much rather someone asked for clarification or for me to expand on what I've already said so that they can actually understand my viewpoint so that they can consider if properly before pushing through their "better" idea.
What will you replace Jira with, out of interest?
Whilst I agree with what you say I'm so grateful for Apple Maps simply on the grounds that I try and use Google products as little as possible. Things like Apple Maps keep me in the Apple ecosystem as they add value to my life. I wouldn't use Apple CarPlay either if I had to use Google Maps (granted, I know Waze and others also exist).
Perhaps it's time to give Mojeek a try if you haven't already.

Desirable Requirements:

- Experience with Tailwind CSS

Why wouldn’t you just search for the app in your App Store if you want it?
This is a very good suggestion, do you have anything specific in mind? We've been looking at the the WAC spec (part of the Solid project) which is related, though different, and interesting.
https://github.com/solid/web-access-control-spec do you have any thoughts on that?
1) Yes you can include it as the default or optional search engine.
2) We used to have an add URL page but a significant proportion of the submissions were spam. We will look into ways genuine submissions could be accepted as lots of people have asked for this.
3) We do, docs can be found at: https://www.mojeek.com/support/api/search/
Thank you, that’s REALLY helpful, I really appreciate it.
Thank you, that’s quite worrying, I hope it doesn’t affect many people. I don’t suppose there’s any way of you flagging it as a bug as a customer is there? (I hope that doesn’t sound cheeky!)
Phew, we'd not heard of anyone else with this issue but it still made me a little worried when you mentioned the problem. I'm pleased you've got it working now though, thanks for letting us know.
That's strange, it's valid until 8th January 2021. This doesn't happen for me in Firefox 83 for Mac so that's weird!
In .doc format... the irony!
I can hand on heart tell you that Mojeek doesn’t and never has. I know this because I work for Mojeek.
Why do I think of Trigger's Broom when I read this?
Mozilla have certainly lost some respect from me over this one!
I’m curious, why should you not use 2? I use Privacy Badger and ublock and haven’t had any problems that I know of.
> This sounds more like a threat. "If you don't give us whatever data we want, for free, then we will cut you off from some of our online services as punishment.
Or start charging for things that used to be free, like news results.
It sounds like they will, if you go to

Hi, my name is Maciej Ceglowski, the latest (and hopefully last) owner of del.icio.us.
The site will be back online soon. If you had data stored on del.icio.us after 2010, you'll be able to export it here.
If you had data on the site before 2010, whether I still have it depends on whether you completed the "opt-in" process in 2011, when Yahoo transferred the site to AVOS.
I'll do my best to get everything I can back online this summer!

It's a long story and not completely the integrator's fault but in the end we had to replace all of the memory. Since then we have stuck to the same part manufacturers where possible. We don't know whether we've just been lucky or simply haven't reached a critical mass where it becomes a common problem, but it's been extremely rare for a part to arrive in working order and go on to fail within the warranty period. Maybe that's a testament to Supermicro, we have had some problems with their power supplies but all sometime after the warranty period has ended.
We (Mojeek) got our first batch of servers complete and it didn't work out so since then we have built them ourselves with the parts we want and that have been reliable for us.
It's an exciting time for us so it wasn't boring, but ask again after the next few hundred and you might get a different answer.

Is your machine very old by any chance? Although, that said, I have no problems on a 2013 MBP.
3. I use Firefox all day every day on my mac(s) and have absolutely no problem with it. What problems do you have?
"I like to see the world as it is, not as some corporation thinks I like to see it as". You realise that DDG uses Bing results, right?
I'd really like to see a web where developers stop `npm install`ing tons of dependencies, I really would!
Yes for Graduate Web Developers, but they might not be graduates or even have any qualifications at all. We'll most likely end up paying more than that average but we don't want to discount or discourage anyone from applying. As mentioned before, it's from £18K, i.e. that's the lowest we'd offer.
It's from £18k, which isn't unreasonable for a junior web developer with no experience, flexible working hours, and no cost for travelling to and from work. But we're open to all, so if you have more experience and are right for the role, then of course it would be higher.
