Re:Postgres 19 is late, and it's AI's fault on Monday November 02, 2026 @12:31AM (#50333451)
I've been engaged with Postgres community for over 20 years now, and this has been my experience, too, throughout that time. Off and on I have interacted with a few other large projects, and nowhere (except at CodeBlocks) have I found such a welcoming and responsive community. The CodeBlocks IDE project has been one exception where I felt welcomed; but my interaction there was quite limited, and spanned over just a few days, so I can't extrapolate too much from that.

BTW, the Postgres community is also quite protective of their culture, so I expect this welcoming nature of the community to persist for a while.

Just in case it helps someone, a while ago I wrote a blog post with exact CLI invocations to set up a local-password-store protected by TouchID. If you wish, the encrypted password-store can be backed up and tracked with a Git.

Like someone said, you're asking for too much. Decent used sub-10k cars are available for your purposes https://www.carmax.com/cars?price=0-10000
I haven't evaluated it yet, but I love the fact that the output is (at least claimed to be) deterministic. I can't trust an LLM to do the right thing after I deploy it to production, because their output is non-deterministic by design.

TERMy (or is it the NPC-forge) seems to be worth a try.
