Thanks for kappa, I really like the idea, but it currently seems a bit "broken/unmaintained", is it still actively developed?

Re:Recursive raytracer in 35 lines of JavaScript on Tuesday November 19, 2013 @04:50AM (#6760160)
Awesome! I tried to look into building a simple raytracer many times, but the either math gets me everytime or I just didn't come across the right "raytracer for dummies" tutorials.

Any suggestions?

Re:Ask HN: What should I do with my geektrail.com domain? on Tuesday June 19, 2012 @09:04AM (#4131552)
I think this is what you're looking for: http://www.geek-maps.com/
Re:Ask HN: What should I do with my geektrail.com domain? on Tuesday June 19, 2012 @09:04AM (#4131550)
I like it, but my first concern with this would be privacy.

On the other hand, something like this seems to exist already: http://social.wakoopa.com/

Ask HN: What should I do with my geektrail.com domain?

Not sure why, but for some reason I bought geektrail.com years ago and never used it for anything. So my options are:1. sell it.2. cancel it.3. come up with something cool, that would fit the domainname.I really like option 3, so what kind of website would you hope to see when visiting geektrail.com?

Ask HN: How do you use Twitter?

I never really got into Twitter. On the one hand I feel like it's an enormous echo-chamber of re-tweets and mundane status updates. On the other hand I feel like you can gather a lot of useful information in a compact way. It also seems to be a low-barrier way to connect with a lot of other people in your field, which might come in handy one day career-wise.How do you use Twitter?

isn't it the idea to forget about files, so I can see the models & and views I'm interested in in for a particular workflow. Regardles of where & which file they're located in?
Re:The future is specific on Tuesday May 22, 2012 @11:15AM (#4008209)
I love it, especially the grouping of files: route + models + templates, in 1 view is something I see a use for. Does anyone know of an editor which can do something similar?
