At this point you gotta think Apple is not using AI, or using too much AI, or using AI incorrectly. But then again, it’s not just them —- it’s everyone, really.
Somehow it was more immersive and engaging than any recent AAA game.
Re:Why So Many Control Rooms Were Seafoam Green (2025) on Thursday March 26, 2026 @03:23PM (#47534546)
The reason for the green stairways was the vast surplus of the green paint (used for military equipment) post-WW2.

The audiobook version is amazing, if that’s your thing.
Re:Why is Claude an Electron app? on Saturday February 21, 2026 @08:04PM (#47106966)
Both Anthropic's and OpenAI's apps being this janky with only basic history management (the search primarily goes by the titles) tells me a lot. You'd think these apps be a shining example of what's possible.
Re:Visual Introduction to PyTorch on Tuesday February 17, 2026 @03:18AM (#47044947)
Did not expect to see a 3D model of Quake 2's grenade launcher in a PyTorch tutorial today.

I’m not sure why some are struggling to understand this. A single "godmode" checkbox would only be possible if every element, the marketplace, the hardware, and the payment rails, were inside one ecosystem. The Switch is Nintendo, Minecraft is Microsoft, the credit card is Visa, and so on. There are simply too many moving parts, making a single killswitch nearly impossible to orchestrate.

What a blast from the past! And, yeah, it looked much different 20 years ago. It was all Flash.
Re:You're absolutely Right! on Friday September 05, 2025 @12:14PM (#45140235)
Claude Code has been downright bad the last couple of weeks. It seems like a considerable amount of users are moving to Codex, at least judging by reddit posts.
Isn’t F-35 capable of VTOL? Couldn’t they just land on the belly? Or the malfunctioning landing gears disabled VTOL?
Yep, if I'm using a physical medium like paper I want to allow for some degradation. Here's a Veritasium video on QR codes: https://youtu.be/w5ebcowAJD8
Ugh, B6 a is part of the very popular ZMA...
US and Canada
CGMs react slower and can be quite wrong compared to finger pricking.
Re:Grand Theft Auto VI Is Now Coming May 26, 2026 on Friday May 02, 2025 @11:35AM (#43871177)
All other companies can breath now and start announcing the release dates for their games this year. No one wanted to compete with GTA6.
Re:Sycophancy in GPT-4o on Wednesday April 30, 2025 @11:16AM (#43846462)
I had a similar thought: glazing is the infinite scroll of AI.

Not a baseball fan, but I’m curious if the MLB will go the F1 route (ie ban the “hack”) or embrace it as it will probably make for more entertaining games. Home runs are a good thing, right?
Yep, definitely been noticing it, especially on Reddit. It almost always makes me navigate away from the post, unless the author mentions that they’re using AI.

That quote can be applied to so many areas in life.

Also, a Tomcat “driver?” Is that a thing?

Re:How I accepted myself into Canada's largest AI hackathon on Thursday March 20, 2025 @03:24AM (#43420502)
