This is a good canary of what people were discussing in the past. Left to its inevitable outcome, centralizing AI development of software in a central player will inevitably generate over control and abuse. Its fortunate that openai or other party did not get to monopolize the Ai coding game and we have a way out in commoditization and open models.
> so that employers do not have to invest in training developers.
This does not make sense to me. What do you classify as employer here? Front end frameworks are usually pushed by developers, not management. If it were I suppose we would be seeing way less react and more vanilla with jquery on forms and normal website stuff.
The push to create a SPA with react and other bollocks is purely pressure from implementers. There is not a day that I don't see devs that are more interested in making "beautiful code" and architecture despite the actual requirements they were trying to solve for. Ai is changing that, I hope for the better, but only time will tell.
Because the Perl one did not run on Mac easily and I wanted to see how it would handle, how much effort it would require of me, etc. The goal was for me to learn how the Ai behaves in this kind of task on something I though was fun and more people can play around with if they like.
But secretly, I just wanted to drain another swimming pool!
That's actually interesting, I checked and someone has been patching the original for newer Fedora versions. I only saw the original was abandoned did not remember to check distro repos. That patched version is likely much easier to run on a Mac too.

My wife wanted to play frozen bubble, I was trying to get the original Perl version running and it was taking more work than I wanted. So I pointed free trial codex to it and asked to remake it in Rust. Its far from perfect but its playable and fun with three prompts.
This is something I would never have dedicated any time otherwise.
Poor fellas, barely enough for rent
I can prompt and LLM to prove this and it gives me 5 reasons HOAs are making things worse.
And land where? This was a controlled, scripted stunt with no human inside. It was already risky. Using it in uneven, unmapped terrain would require real time navigation, waaaay more air time to account for those.
For the buyer, yes. But this one also makes zero sense to the maker.
with a preorder button, yes.
The time machine actually accomplishes something. I fail to see what this accomplishes other than a very cool circus stunt. Straight out of fast and furious. Which is great and all, but not a production car.
It flies the same as a chicken. Cushion and long jumps but not flying as in flying car or plane.
That is a pretty good price in todays manufacturing landscape.
14% is a lot.
I think you can work around it very easily by stopping down the lens and using filters.
But I’m sure if the phone has direct connection to the device and not working through hubs it’s not anywhere near 1s of delay.
Depends on how powerful of a light you’re using. 1 second on a 7 second exposure is too much. One second on a 20, not.
It’s not a nod. It’s required to not ruin the paper during use. A specific yellow would also work but phone screens often output more than just the desired color. Red is the safest.
Last full analog car must’ve been in the 50s
Let’s all just watch go karts and ignore what F1 always was because we think electricity is political now.
The only part of this discussion that caught my attention as to being very interesting is the one where the software feeling anything is irrelevant and flips the question around. Asking about the intent of torturing/damaging object or things for what purpose. It makes some interesting lines of tough about human behaviour, purpose and ways to make points that are more interesting to me than if this code actually experience real distress.
As to it being an Asylum. I don't think it ever felt any different.

The end does not justify the means.
> not much have changed.
So much have changed. The way we shop, travel, navigate a town, the way we socialize, receive information. My formative memory is during the transition from computers are a furniture piece and internet a thing you do to being on your pocket with constant high speed connection and the difference is incredible.
I was also part of the people that thought everyone having access would turn out a lot better than it ended up being. I think the issue is not that it did not change much, is that good changes got offset a bit by a lot of very bad outcomes.
No comment on the distribution and concentration part, that one I agree.
> Nitpick but solid wood furniture does not weigh more than the particleboard furniture from Ikea.
What is this special space time dilation wood you found? If its made of hardwood it will be a lot heavier. If it weights similarly and its solid wood is usually very soft and will live as long or less than IKEA furniture.
How did he get the registration and room in the first place then?
I replied specifically to the comment mentioning that arriving with pre-wiped devices could be used against them.
I am surprised they managed to cancel his personal Hotel reservation.
I got curious about this but it seems that this is also the case for all his siblings. His bio dad gets it (EUR 300k/y) because of a transitional compromise but the future princes aside from the presumptive heir to the throne will not get it.
Not that they might be any close to being destitute given the estate size.
As for him, I suppose you can sue for backpay child support.
