There are a great number of Albertans that are elbows up and are pissed at Smith for entertaining the separatists so don’t paint them all with the same brush.

I think it only keeps history for user edited files, agent edited files don't seem to end up in it for me (Claude code) but maybe it works with other agents with the proper plugins I'm not sure.
Re:Zelensky leaves White House after angry meeting on Friday February 28, 2025 @06:25PM (#43213178)
Musk doesn't wear a suit in the Oval Office, is that disrespectful?
Re:Zelensky leaves White House after angry meeting on Friday February 28, 2025 @06:01PM (#43212917)
That one media guy asking about Zelensky's lack of a suit and it being disrespectful to the Oval Office. Completely out of touch, the man has about a million other things to worry about than that.
Re:Expensive fridges are dying, leading to fraud claims on Monday January 22, 2024 @02:38PM (#39094285)
After having 2 fridges go in the last month (one regular and one beverage fridge) I can't wait until more regulation comes in place so that appliances aren't so throwaway. The support person said average life expectancy is about 8 years which is ridiculously low.
That was one reason I liked Go as well, it's no longer the case though, you can produce native binaries with GraalVM.

Does Plus give API access? Last time I looked it didn't, I think the waitlist is still the only option.

I like this one, similar to another one I like. Don't connect the dots that aren't there.
Re:Greatest Java apps on Monday June 29, 2020 @04:54PM (#23682886)
Do you now realize that it's been split out of the JDK again? https://github.com/openjdk/jfx
Re:Greatest Java apps on Monday June 29, 2020 @04:50PM (#23682820)
Yes this please! I recently found out the hoops one must jump through to sign code, I've basically have given up until one of the CI services will provide a way.
Having the latest version of a file online isn’t a backup.
Re:VirtualBox 6.1 on Friday December 13, 2019 @01:39PM (#21784152)
I assume you mean KVM. Yes it's based on existing technologies, I wouldn't necessarily call it just a management layer however.

In the same vein, Proxmox is another choice, it's open source (or you can pay for support), also allows for GPU pass-through.
Acorn is my go to graphic editor, it is lesser known than other editors.

The direct download is here:

for some reason my account only shows "There’s currently no beta software available for download."

There's a toggle in each section, that said I wish I noticed the toggle switch before I read the complete article myself.

Are you suggesting Google doesn’t also have to do this?

Yes Java 10 now has local variable type inference so you can now use "var", this repository looks like it was last touched 2 years ago so probably why the examples aren't using it.
There was a recent reddit post about this as well here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/7x639l/what_free...
Legacy systems that haven't migrated to some other front end yet. There would be a lot of companies in this situation. That said, I'm not convinced this is the best approach. I think I'd prefer rewriting parts at a time of a system that big.

I hope by the time I upgrade they figure out how to get the screen overtop all the cameras. The black section looks horrible.
After getting hit by this yesterday and finding it not very easy to find which extension was affected I went through a big extension purge. Most of the extensions I had installed I never really ever used.
Re:'Clean your desk': My Amazon interview experience on Thursday December 08, 2016 @12:12PM (#13131924)
For some reason (in my experience) HR has a lot of power in companies. They can institute painful processes that nobody likes even director/executives and nobody seems to question it or if they do they are powerless to change it. The company I currently work for I wouldn't have a hope in hell of passing through all the hoops the interview process inflicts.
Re:How it feels to learn JavaScript in 2016 on Tuesday October 04, 2016 @06:55PM (#12640293)
While I agree you need to know the toolchain, create-react-app is a professional tool, it works very well. I've struggled before configuring webpack/babel/etc. manually and while it may "murder" me down the road one can always eject if need be.
Re:How to steal a developer's local database on Thursday September 01, 2016 @01:17PM (#12407102)
Looks like the best way to protect against this is filtering private IP addresses from DNS responses. Is there a reason why ISP DNS servers in general would ever need to serve out a private IP?
JavaFX also has support to bundle a JRE with its native installer support, it can build a exe, msi, dmg etc. The bigger issue is Oracle not really giving it the proper attention.
Re:Node OS on Wednesday May 04, 2016 @06:59PM (#11632663)
It's still based on the linux kernel.
