I've read that Magnesium L-Threonate is better taken in the morning to help your brain function better during the day. So, I take this in the morning and Mg glycinate at night.
Re:How to Subvert a Democracy, Stage 2: Condition the Masses on Saturday April 29, 2023 @01:53AM (#35750410)
Your statements about "percentage of income taxes" are misleading. Two points:

1. Your 3% and 39% actually reflect how much more absolute income the rich generate compared to others. For example, if a rich person has $10 million in income and someone from the bottom 50% person has $100k in income, even a 15% income tax (for example) is $1.5 million and $15k respectively. Given our massive wealth inequality, your 39% income tax number tells us that the top 1% are capturing a massive chunk of the total income generated in the US. A quick quote from a 2021 Forbes article: "billionaires collectively hold two-thirds more wealth than the bottom 50 percent of all households in the United States, according to an analysis by the Institute for Policy Studies." - more wealth generates more absolute income.

2. By focusing solely on income tax, you're ignoring Total Taxes, which for example include sales tax. Low-income Americans face higher payroll tax rates than rich Americans. There are also many more tax-reducing benefits for the poor in our tax code, for example, Long-term capital gains and qualified dividends overwhelmingly accrue to the rich.

Cola is highly acidic, which causes gut problems, especially when drinking it on an empty stomach. It caused GERD for me and I had to take omeprazole to fix the damage. And, of course, I mostly stopped drinking cola, especially on an empty stomach.

Actually, studies have shown that placebos work sometimes even when people know. This is a great podcast about this topic and the page also has links to some studies: https://www.npr.org/2019/04/29/718227789/all-the-worlds-a-st...
For this use case, you might be better off using Windows VPS providers. For about $6/mo, you'll get a VM pre-installed with Windows 2019 server. Just google "Windows VPS" and you'll find tons of providers.

Misinformation: "It's February 3rd, Australia and the USA closed their borders to China"

1. Taking a connecting flight via another country to the US was not banned. Taiwan, on the other hand, banned all Chinese citizens from entering - from all countries.

2. The US only blocked Chinese citizens from arriving via direct flights from China to the US, but American citizens (and some others) were allowed: "Since then [the ban], nearly 40,000 Americans and other authorized travelers have made the trip" [0].

3. The administration did not setup stringent/effective screening for arriving passengers with symptoms or follow ups for the 430,000 people who arrived directly from China until April 4: "430,000 People Have Traveled From China to U.S. Since Coronavirus Surfaced" [0]

Anyone else here in Fethiye? :) It would be great to meet.
It's called a Residency Permit - just google it. The length of time depends on your nationality, but it's 1 year for citizens of an OECD country.
Is this appointment for a Residency Permit? I think it varies greatly by the location of the immigration office. In Fethiye, it was easy.

Namecheap is expensive when you go to renew. I switched all my domains to Porkbun - cheaper, and a cleaner/simpler UI.

Some spas or medical clinics offer red light therapy as a treatment. Or, you can buy one for your home or DIY build your own, which are discussed at https://www.reddit.com/r/redlighttherapy/ .

Which red light therapy product did you use? Did you buy a full body product or build it from panels yourself?

Can you please point me to an article where Trump called the leaders of all our allies to create a coalition? And also which collective sanctions were created?
Yes, with many thanks to the Republican party that doesn't believe in governing competently. The party of anti-government has been doing everything it can for decades to get the government to break down and screw up. Instead of improving government, they've been systematically destroying its ability to deal with real problems.
A true leader would have gotten on the phone with all of his counterparts in all of our allied countries and given notice to China that the new laws to curtail freedoms are a red line. And come up together with a list of collective sanctions (including banking) to threaten China with.

Instead, Trump has spent so much of his time kissing up to Xi to get his help to win the re-election (per Bolton's book). And check out some tweets from 2020: "Terrific working with President Xi, a man who truly loves his country." "In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!” "“Just had a long and very good conversation by phone with President Xi of China. He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus."

"Of his many tweets over the three-day Memorial Day weekend, when the Hong Kong issue was at the top of the news, none was about Hong Kong. During the Hong Kong protests of 2014, Mr. Trump tweeted one of his few clear statements on the plight of the territory: “President Obama should stay out of the Hong Kong protests, we have enough problems in our own country!”" https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/27/opinion/china-hong-kong-l...
