HVAC don't require so much power, don't spread FUD.
Especially compared to direct virtio access to physical volume.
Xorg is indeed a lot of painful complexity. This being said, the software is not Linux specific, and for modern Linux distributions, it is more and more a legacy technology.
Btrfs is NOT constantly eating people data. You have nothing to back this statement.
It's widely used and the default filesystem of several distributions.
Most of the problems are like for the other filesystem: caused by the hardware.
I've been using it for more than 10 years without any problem and enjoy the experience. And like for any filesystem, I backup my data frequently (with btrbk, thanks for asking).
I run Fedora and for legal reasons, they ship a version that has this problem. Have you tried Mozilla's Flatpak build? I use it instead and it resolves all my problem.
git-annex is a good alternative to the solution of Githu, and it supports different storage backends. I'm actually surprised it's not more popular.
I used to be a Kagi customer, but the fact that they waste their energy with all these distractions is depressing. They should instead build a real search engine and stop reselling Bing.
What you mean by "climate firms"?
This is one of the topics of the article.
Disabling SELinux is pretty much like doing a chmod -R 777 ., it may fix your "problem", but it's certainly not the long term solution.
During the winter, the solar panel are efficient just for a couple of hours every days. Meanwhile, this is the moment of the year where the global consumption is the highest. We've yet to see a battery system able to hold enough power to balance these months of under production.
Why would you store electricity produced by Nuclear energy? You can adjust the production to match the needs.
You ignore the short daylight period during the winter, when the electricity consumption is the most important.
There is no practical why to store the energy for the nights. At the end we end up with a cheap source of energy that covers only a fraction of our needs, and we have to maintain a second source of production for the rest of the time. We pay two times to keep the two system operational.
Nuclear is also cheap and doesn't have this limitation.
Solar is nowhere near to be a dominant source of energy and will never be.
I'm a Kagi user and unfortunately they are reselling Google Search results.
Before you can reload some previous known state, you need to initialize the hardware, load the firmwares and probe the devices (USB, SATA, PCI), discover the storage volumes and the partition tables. All these steps take time.

The tab freeze frequently and you need to kill the application.
An example with France, there is between 400000 and 600000 (source an article from Le Monde) illegals, meanwhile the jail system can hold less than 60000 and are already full.
So, even if you want to put everybody in prison, you need some absolutely massive investments, and the cost every year will also be substantial (guards, food, sewage, etc, etc).
And I ignore the fact these facilities were designed for adults.
Update for clarity, My point here is to point out that you cannot technically just "Keep them detained in the meanwhile." without doing monstrous actions at industrial scale.
Insane? Really? There is nothing wrong with defending your language and the artistic industry. They've got also some similar quotas for the song in French on the radio

They've decided to leave the European Common Market, which was precisely designed to avoid the bureaucracy and reduce the burden of the customs procedures.
The damages were caused by the invaders. Everything was preventable and they decided to attack. But it's easier to blame the army who dare to risk their lives to defend their country, right? Regarding the Mariupol reconstruction, this is a story pushed by the Russian propaganda and in reality, it will take decades to fully rebuild the city. And what about the life of all the civilians, those won't come back. That's what Russia call a "liberation".
If you've got your configuration properly automated, nothing prevent you from redeploying your bare-metal nodes every weeks. The opposite can actually also be true, it may become risky at some point to reboot a VM with a high uptime.
