Re:Effective learning: Twenty rules of formulating knowledge (1999) on Monday September 01, 2025 @06:39PM (#45097236)
Do you use Incremental Reading? I've tried many times but I don't see the point in it, probably never got it.

Anki way makes more sense.

You should read the book Mastery by Robert Greene, which is exactly what you want.

I like some of the patio11 reasons from here https://www.kalzumeus.com/2009/09/05/desktop-aps-versus-web-... but this may have changed since.
Re:Ask HN: Should I even bother with React? on Sunday January 23, 2022 @12:30PM (#30048147)
I think the best way to know this is going through the React Tutorial, https://reactjs.org/tutorial/tutorial.html, and then decide for yourself.

hey guys, I just opened a store that makes kaomoji pillows.

https://kaomojishoppu.com/

If any of you guys want a customized kaomoji pillow, just enter in contact over here or via the store, I woule be happy to help.

Also, in the future I will add other products, like t-shirts, sweatshits, etc.

any kaomoji generated via this generator _probably_ can be included in a pillow.

Re: on Tuesday May 05, 2015 @10:53AM (#9492792)
Everything in moderation.

Like you said, you dedicated a lot of time to work, now reserve some of that time to talk to your friends too (call the ones that you lost touch but still like).

Is just a matter of focus too, instead of working long hours everyday, take some time to work on your friendships.

To start 1 night a week to call or meet someone really helps, then go from there.

(also I would suggest for you to not drink alone, you could create a rule to only drink if someone is joining you, seriously, don't drink alone.)

Re:Show HN: I finally relased my first product on Thursday August 11, 2011 @09:04AM (#2872596)
It's cool, but needs a lot of design, it's very raw yet.

One other thing, the program should not allow me to click anywhere, like, if I start to make a word in horizontal and them click 4 columns on the vertical he shoul not compute that, or something like this... (I don't know if you can understand this without some screenshot)

polish, polish and polish more. :D
