Where did you get the TD Ameritrade data from?
For me personally, it comes down to cost and acceptability. I would like to pursue nanodegrees but the cost is much higher than Coursera - which has a monthly subscription model. Also, Coursera has an expanding offering of Master's degrees from world renowned Univerities which employers will accept (my employer - a Canadian Bank will even pay for online masters degrees) but nanodegrees seem like vaporware, if Udacity goes under how do I get my nanodegrees verified? If the cost were lower, i could take the risk.
What blogs/news do you follow for commodity trading? Got any favorite book/papers for algorithmic commodities trading?
The Fraser institute, which published this study, has a right wing bias and is funded by the Koch Brothers. It seeks to displace the public system in Canada with private healthcare modelled after the US. While they claim independence and give their research away freely, one should be aware of their interests.

It is astounding that someone with the resources to pay for the best medical care was unable to arrive at the correct diagnosis. As we move towards AI assisted diagnoses, hopefully such suffering can be mitigated.
Do neurologists follow checklists when diagnosing symptoms? Will this case change their procedures going forward?

@davj: What resources did you use to learn javascript and to make this site?
What are the exceptions? Any legal source for your claims that this will work?
I doubt any of the developers being sued by Lodsys knew they were infringing on these patents.
And there is no sure way to know which small thing is under patent than to spend hours going through the patent archives or hiring expensive patent lawyers.

With the rise of patent trolls and Lodsys actually filing against developers today, should all developers publish apps through limited-liability businesses or corporations rather than as individuals? So, even if you get sued, you can take existing earnings as dividends and shut the company down without any personal ramifications, change the apps and republish through another company? Will this...
Where are you getting the shirts printed from? Whats the total cost for printing and shipping?
How are they accessing my laptop mic? Is it the Google voice plugin?
Shouldn't the browser ask for permission before allowing access?

Same error for me. No idea where to run though.
On Mac OS X, it gives an error saying: Run --fix-permissions first.
Run with which command? and how?
Great, I just signed up for a new account yesterday. Are secondary accounts not allowed?
So then will a self-signed certificate work or do I have to use one from a vendor such as godaddy?

My webapp requires payment which is handled through Paypal. The user clicks on a button on my website, gets redirected to Paypal and makes the payment there.Paypal then notifies my webapp and redirects the user. In this scenario, do I really need to get an SSL certificate from vendors such as godaddy or verisign?
Would it work on a PS3 running ubuntu?
Fantastic Answer. Heres a few more what-ifs.
When I said tech startup, i meant companies developing web applications that people pay for. So for example, if people use DropBox or Basecamp, and there is no guy making a commission, then you can only tax the company in which ever state it is in?
Also, what about incorporating abroad but having your customers in the US?

Where is the best place to incorporate a startup when thinking about taxes?Given how a tech startup isn't really tied to a physical location, (Servers are rented, there is no brick store, founders can work from anywhere), where should one officially register the company?

Their entry level plan for 10 users costs $2500/yr for a single installation.Has anyone tried the product? Is it really better than simply setting up and using gitosis or gitolite?
They do mention: "We are pragmatic enough to not choose a tool simply because it is written in Python, but we do see the usefulness in promoting tools that do use it when it is reasonable to do so as it is in this case."
