AI agents have been getting a fair share of attention in the recent AI hype cycles. So with all the hype, I decided to take an AI agent product currently on the market - Lindy.AI - for a spin to see where we're at with AI agents and what the future might hold. I was impressed to say the least. I recorded a video of me using their "Lead Generator Lindy" (Lindy AI's name for an AI agent) to generate leads for my AI and No Code consulting business. The Lindy agent was quick, accurate and impressive. It found ten relevant leads, provided me emails and LinkedIn profiles for each and added them all to a Google Spreadsheet. It did this all from one text command. I can imagine connecting this to Zapier and automating email outreach from there. Cost could be prohibitive in the short run, but like all things in the space, I imagine that coming down over time. I'm excited to see how AI agents shape the future of work.
