This book aims to provide an introduction to the topic of deep learning algorithms. We review essential components of deep learning algorithms in full mathematical detail including different artificial neural network (ANN) architectures (such as fully-connected feedforward ANNs, convolutional ANNs, recurrent ANNs, residual ANNs, and ANNs with batch normalization) and different optimization algorithms (such as the basic stochastic gradient descent (SGD) method, accelerated methods, and adaptive methods). We also cover several theoretical aspects of deep learning algorithms such as approximation capacities of ANNs (including a calculus for ANNs), optimization theory (including Kurdyka-Łojasiewicz inequalities), and generalization errors. In the last part of the book some deep learning approximation methods for PDEs are reviewed including physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) and deep Galerkin methods. We hope that this book will be useful for students and scientists who do not yet have any background in deep learning at all and would like to gain a solid foundation as well as for practitioners who would like to obtain a firmer mathematical understanding of the objects and methods considered in deep learning.Ask HN: Can you suggest advanced books on all type differential equations?

Ask HN: Are there any research using chaos theory to study Deep neural network?
I just know and reading this book: Emergence: From Chaos To Order (https://www.amazon.com/Emergence-Chaos-Order-Helix-Books/dp/0738201421),but it just studied simple shadow neural network,Are there any research using chaos theory to study Deep neural network?

Ask HN: As Covid-19, why is the world and human so fragile In a high-tech world?
Maybe for most people the high-tech is not that important for their life,Maybe it is time to slow down and think what are the most important for a basic happy life, how to more reasonable and appropriate use all these high-techs,rather than continue to crazily speed economy and create more 'high-tech'.

Ask HN: Which static compiled language do you use for web backend?
There are many mainstream dynamic language for web backend development, but so pity not many mainstream static compiled language for backend, but for medium to large projects, the static compiled language can give big benefits. As i know, the mainstream for web backend just goes: C++ Java C# Go Rust (V D Nim Crystal OCaml Sml Haskell Idris maybe too good to be mainstream), with Java/Go as the...
