can you elaborate at all on what sort of rig you went with, beyond the big $$ GPUs?

Re:GitHub and the crime against software on Monday June 01, 2026 @07:14PM (#48363821)
would a self-hosted all-in-one solution be a viable alternative that doesn't split these all up into separate cloud hosted apps? it's been years since i've explored anything other than github/gitlab/etc.
would you rather it phrased they are guilty and associated with the same religion? what's the gripe here?
looks like they can request your passcode to unlock the phone so anything local and/or cached before they disable network connectivity would be there.
I'd guess the semantics is along the lines of she was still arrested, and any legal recourse she may have will take time and money with likely zero repercussions to the police dept.

seems to mostly be one person with multiple accounts, but they are getting rightly buried.
maybe tangentially related but i've found cloudflare's email routing useful to just send emails to [email protected] sent to [email protected]. i'm not sure if it's limited to domains registered with them though.

Re:Big Ball of Mud on Thursday July 11, 2024 @02:16AM (#40934071)
Yeah that's pretty much how I've observed this happening, though I've found this scenario to be so much more common in teams that are overloaded with competing priorities they have no control of because of (usually) poor and/or naive management. Re:Show HN: FFmpeg Command Visualizer and Editor on Saturday October 29, 2022 @07:23PM (#33388976)

"Given that it may take up to several weeks to restore system availability,"

I didn't expect to see Pep Boys as an example. Do/did they have their own data centers?
Sure looks like they acquihired him: https://www.system1.com/press/system1-welcomes-waterfox

Also, Alex appears to have stepped down as director of Waterfox and a co-founder of System1 became director: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08071145/filing-h...

Re:Richard Stallman resigns from CSAIL at MIT on Monday September 16, 2019 @08:47PM (#20990074)

Looks like it is criticism of America's "at-will" labor laws to me too.
Re:Introducing nushell on Friday August 23, 2019 @08:52PM (#20784363)
Do you have any examples of stderr errors being impossible to catch in PS, and/or a basic script that is very easy in Bash but cumbersome in PowerShell?
