Great idea, but the voice or rhythm of the conversation still does not feel authentic. Might fool someone if it's in the background though.
they just made Global Entry free for kids under a certain age, I think, as long as their parent(s) have GE.
while they might block the plus, they likely do not block the dot. It's not exactly the same but can help for at least a few scenarios.
hah, this takes me back. There used to be a game called Jezzball, I think, back in the late 90's or early 00's. Had a lot of fun with that one.

can you share how much you make a year?
If you search for Scott Hanselman's Penny Pinching blog post series, he details how he runs a couple of his high volume sites for as cheap as possible in Azure.
That is a great analogy. I hope lawmakers patch all those holes, because you are right.
This. It is very comfortable to use Google OAuth sign in, even if you have a custom domain, but I've run into a few services that will not let you log on with user/password if you created the account via Single Sign On with Google, regardless if you use the same email.
Are there cases where users have taken Google to court to get their data back in this case?
I've had my Gmail account since 2004 and I am also terrified about this. I ended up re-registering my custom domain and putting it on M365 but still... it feels like, as another commenter suggested, there should be laws to allow any customers that were banned or terminated from at least getting their data via Takeout
Do you really think that they have no way to tell that it's you between all those accounts? I mean, there's no really a concept of account linking between Google Accounts, but between your IP being on all the accounts, and browser or device fingerprinting, I'm not sure this is really a reliable fail safe. It should be, but I doubt it.
I think I recognize your name. You had a motivational website or blog, Impossible things or something like that?
It's so ironic that Google's original motto was "Don't be evil".
I saw this on Reddit so I guess that's why you're getting double hugged to death
I really like the format of your blog and it seems your posts are very high quality. Will have fun for a few weeks! thanks for sharing
just call Walter White. Sure he'd be able to pull something off with Magnets..
This is why I love Manning Books. I actually ordered a book off of Amazon that I forgot was produced by Manning, and I went to cancel the order and get it from Manning instead. That way I got the print version, the digital version and even free digital of the older editions of it. They've won me as a customer in that I'll always order off them if they have a book I want even if it's available on AMZ.
Congrats! I just glanced at the site for a few minutes but it looks nice and I really enjoy hearing about people finding success from hobby projects. Best of luck!
It should not. StackOverflow.com, for example, runs on ASP.NET MVC and is one of the websites with most traffic in the world. Also blazing fast and rarely goes down. Even in Black Friday!
I haven't bought them either, but I do think there's a market.
There are some people who are in technical departments that are not necessarily software developers but due to their responsibilities have a need to understand some technical concepts. I know we have at least one in our department. For him to spend $12 on something that will help him understand what we do better would certainly be money well spent.
They kind of remind me of the Heads First Design Patterns book.
best of luck with this, sounds like a great idea... there are always new improvements to be made to processes and you just found a great one.
Why waste any time using it if a few years down the line they will discontinue it?
Scott also replied to me about a specific .NET issue I emailed him about more than 7 years ago. He's an incredible person and as keithwarren pointed out, it's a win not only for coders, but for everyone that uses or depends on .NET. Scott is the type of person that should to be in the highest levels of leadership.
no way windows search will ever replace Everything. Windows search is slow and it will not find whatever document you want 90% of the time.

thanks spo81rty. I agree with what you say and hope they focus on unifying the experience similar to what iOS-OSX have.
