Framing a woman as a prize that is to be competed for does do some heavy objectification in the movie. So, yeah, that.
I swear, humor is dead. Or rather peoples ability to perceive it.
What makes it so hard to read for you?
The contrast is fine, it even has a narrow column layout to limit the distance your eyes have to travel, the writing style reads quite human and clearly laid out.
Or are the 5 pictures giving you trouble?
Killing people as punishment for poor choices they enact on their own bodies is such a medieval take that it frankly can only be satirical or gallows humor.
But it does fit with the puritanical punishment fetishizing culture that the USA has fostered. Instead of rehabilitating people let's just liquidate them. Sure why not.
It would never prompt again.
Folding screens have been a thing for around 6 years now and pretty early on manufacturers realized that 'zero radius' bending was not gonna work, so there were some pretty clever hacks that increased the internal space to allow the screen to fold in a teardrop form to soften the impact.
But regarding the dead left panel, you will have _no_ panel because if the panel fails, all of the inside screen will be affected, since it's one unit.
Because you have not been paying attention to the discourse regarding AI for the last couple years?
That AIs unethical train on data wherever they may get it from has been in the news basically weekly.
What big-tech companies have been _actually_ held accountable for data misuse, as in, 'consequences that actually mattered'?
Being able to absorb fines just turns them into a cost-of-doing-business tax.
Because Flock is privately owned while ANPR seems to my cursory research to be government owned.
And we all know what private corporations do to peoples data.
Passengers already existed back then, which this intended for.
The motion cues are not meant to decrease motion sickness for a driver doom scrolling on their phone while operating their vehicle.
Also not enough to make the text even a slight bit more readable.
I have perfect eyes and am still struggling to focus on the headlines.
Dioxus seems to be 'just' another way to generate HTML on the desktop.
Electron but Rust?
Is there a legitimate upside there?
Australian customer protection laws were the initial reason why Valve introduced refunds into Steam.
In my (german) memory, I could buy my steam deck quite problem free. The supply issues only really started end of last year/start of this year, due to the global RAM shortages. Before that, I can't recall there being availability issues. (at least in germany)
Sure could, but then you would need to do the thing AND think about doing the triggering and then find the trigger button on your watch.
This way you wouldn't have to think about it, because it's automated.
Triggering something manually also doesn't really count as 'automation' I would say.
Nice ad you got there.
How do I define request interceptors with fetch? Axios does it.
In my (admittedly limited) experience, it does run, even with quite comparable performance, but getting a wheel to interact with the game has been a bit challenging. But this could be resolved with a custom driver for my specific hardware.
Using the community standard mod manager seems to resolve the UI jank by completely bypassing it.
Disabling the physical light switch should usually only come after setting up a different way of controlling the light by hand, without a phone.
Most likely there is some sort of motion or presence sensor that turns on the lights which then turn themselves off after some time or no more presence is detected.
There are also small wireless switches that could be used in place of the actual wall switch.
I have done so in my apartment for example. Since the bedroom light switch is for some reason outside of the room I taped it down and put a wireless switch in a more reasonable spot.
Another example is the hallway light, which only turns on by motion sensing when the sun is starting to go down.
Citizen =!= Human.
Even if they might not be citizens, they are humans, people. With human rights.
Categorizing one group of humans as being less deserving of basic human decency than others, is, for a lack of a better word, nazi rhetoric.
Are those not people?
Right into the 'subhuman' rhetoric?
And Lina is problematic why exactly?
The comment (at least my reading of it) did not cast any judgement on whether this was a good or bad thing.

And right they are; sliding doors offer even less seal than the regular cheap doors usually used and as such less sound or odor protection.
Because 10 supported that.
I usually don't comment because I am fine with reading stuff on here during my breaks and don't engage in discussions.
Your poo-pooing of a hobby project that has no ambitions of being enterprise grade really rubbed me the wrong way though.
If it brings you joy to call me a bot, go ahead though.
But it's _not_ c2rust. It started that way but this approach was abandoned in favor of a manual port.
From the comment you replied to:
> The decision to throw it all away and do a manual port, while surely gut-wrenching, was the right call. You just can't automatically translate the intent of the original C code into safe, idiomatic Rust.
From the second paragraph of TFA:
> I threw away all of the C2Rust output and decided I would translate all of the files into Rust manually from C.
Please at least read the source before shit-talking it.
IIRC Microsoft does similar things for the VSCode changelogs to highlight that all features work across all platform and colorschemes.
