Where did my meat go?

many small meat farms struggle to find a partner to turn their animals into retail cuts. I grabbed a list from USDA that's poorly presented and added a better interface to search the list. Thanks for your feedback in advance.
it looks decent, but there's no search. Do you expect me to scroll through 10 pages to find something of interest?
this is solved so simply. Find the 90th percentile pay for the position, set that as the minimum for H-1b.
my interest in animals has waned as I've aged.
I believe this is because I didn't know how to win another thing's affection. A dog just gives it to you. Unconditionally.

In 2017, I read about AI beating professional poker pros. I felt a stab of fear. My work as a trader was similar. I thought: am I next?I channeled that fear into teaching myself to code. I moved to Medellin, Colombia and got busy grinding youtube tutorials. This led to paid freelance work through Upwork and a bootcamp TA position at the University of Texas.I learned that fear is a signal for...

I switched from Linux to wsl for a while. I'm back to Ubuntu after unexplained blue screens. Ubuntu running fine.

this is where views/rating help out.
Farming doesn't strike me as high margin. This increase in costs could send many farmers out of business. That will push up food prices.
This is not a true representation of the population served ads. Are you confident the small benefit most receive is worth throwing out to avoid outliers like this?
yes, great point. But, the bill isn't due til you're ~65+. It takes patience to think "unhealthy eating is more expensive than it appears because present-value for old-age healthcare costs aren't included".
If there was a cost to eating terrible, we would have less to lose from this virus.
It will give his business a better shot of surviving. This also means a better shot to continue paying current employees
If I'm an 80 year old with a heart transplant, I'm happy they're doing this!

So are you suggesting:
- I create a toilet paper cartel with all my buddies
- we hit surrounding area grocery stores with surgical TP buying
- Hoard til prices rise
- dump on muppet consumers
- profit??
this is ridiculous
In other words, if a banana costs $1 and I buy it, its value to me is at least $1
seems like a decent approach. Care expounding?
Is the alternative better?
If the retiree didn't get a low-paying job (Uber driver etc.), his neighbors would be forced to care for him through social welfare taxes. With a job, he supports himself. All the resources freed up can be put to more productive use.
Are you so sure you wouldn't act the same in his shoes? We're all human.
