Re:A browser-native classic Visual Basic VB6 IDE on Monday October 05, 2026 @03:14PM (#49969161)
You can even make changes to the code while debugging and stepping line by line through the code. That was one of the best parts of VB6! Albeit a little dangerous.
When I first read the headline, I assumed it meant they were requiring face scans to protect against AI Agents/Bots, not to "protect" kids.
Wow cool, can I import my One Note notebooks?!!??

Thank you!

Which GPT Video?
Can it upgrade my Rails 4.2 app to Rails 5?

That’s a serious question, but also makes me wonder how maintaining AI generated apps will work in the future?

Does anyone know a good way to access this sort of data (not using OP's SONAR service?)
Re:How to better calculate churn rates on Monday October 19, 2020 @11:03PM (#24833559)
Seems like something Profitwell or Chartmogul should add to their offerings. We rely heavily on Chartmogul for our weekly stats/scorecard and it looks like we've been wrongly celebrating our "super low churn rate" for a while now!
Re:Sid Meier's Memoir on Friday October 09, 2020 @11:30AM (#24730829)
Book looks interesting but I'm curious... how do we know this is Sid Meiers's site and isn't just a site with a bunch of affiliate links on it?
Great launch! This looks similar to www.raaft.io which has been around for a couple of years and supports Recurly in addition to Stripe. How do you differentiate?

I think we would have used something like this (instead of rolling our own) if it integrated with Chargify.

Strange in this case that they are charging for it right out of the gate. Google hasn't really done that with other experimental projects, right?
Yeah, no-shows and late-arrivals are a huge problem for small businesses. My barber told me the same thing back in 2010. I launched Apptoto.com as a side project back then, went full-time with it in 2014 and it's still my full-time gig.
Maybe Stripe will surprise us with a product that makes this easy to do.
