Haha! Like a reverse Trojan horse :) or one of those fake Amazon packages that blow glitter and stink gas when you open them :)
I wish everyone used the same versioning system for all software: A.B.C increment C for security patches, increment B for new features, increment A for systemic changes.
I recently learned that EFI shims are also vulnerable. Is Coreboot the way forward for system security?
This is the major problem I see with flock cameras. They say it’s okay because they’re only using it for good. But can they actually protect the honeypots they create? No. Is it their fault if it gets stolen? Yeah but at that point cats out of the bag.
I’d be careful to use a tool like this because it will look like you are going to these sites in question.

So. Sometimes we have to admit defeat and move on, roll with the punches and even admit/accept defeat. But I will never forget getting library lunch passes from my homeroom teacher so I could play illegally installed Diablo 1 and age or empires 1 on the library terminals with a few other wonderful nerdy 8th grade colleges. The times of shared phone lines and AOL dialup chat rooms, instant...
I remember and miss the golden days. Although it was probably glitter and not actually gold. Still, it was exciting. 3v3n 4 teh sc1pt kidd14s sti77 learnin’ ta sh4ve.
I like the installation music :-)
Yea I couldn’t resist. I’m actually a huge fan of eMacs although I only only tried it once. I’m not a programmer, just scripts here and there in random attempts with varying success. Thank you for the history tidbit! That is really cool. I love hearing stories about punch card programs and Lisp and any forgotten or slightly forgotten technology for that matter
Isn’t eMacs just a text editor like vim or nano?
Maybe the ATS has logic for people resubmitting their resume. I don’t know how isolated each test was.
I learned a lot about perlin noise when generating virtual worlds for Wurm Unlimited fascinating stuff and very satisfying when you get results you’re looking for.
GPS coordinates is the answer.

I'm looking for tools or methods to better curate the deluge and cacophony of notifications, emails, texts and phone calls I imagine we are all getting inundated with everyday with increasing entropy and volume. The amount of "notifications" I get everyday is overwhelming to the point where I often decide to switch my phone to "silent", leave my phone in another room, and even turn it off for...
Didn’t they just raid a reporters house. I wonder what service provider they used…
What does the online safety act require websites to do?
Isn’t compiz a compositor for xfce?
Btw I love xfce. Find it to be the perfect balance between features, stability and performance!!!
Any theories on why water level rise is not uniform? 10 inches higher east of New York but 0 inches higher a thousand miles south?

Fascinating! I wonder how different that is from the mind of a man haha
Less technical but you might find Proximity principle by Ken Coleman to be helpful as well.
I agree. This is a beautiful summary of the logic I used
I would say red because n is probably larger than 50 if the first one picked was red
My observation has been that as long as basic human needs are easily obtained there is a natural tendency to become complacent and go with the flow.
Another perspective could be: what’s so bad about people taking longer to mature? In a way it points to the possibility that we have evolved to a society that allows children to be children for longer. The real problem is that biologically their bodies are screaming for reproduction which becomes confusing and stressful. Perhaps in the future we will deal with this in creative and healthy new ways
