I had faced roadblocks while integrating with openclaw using ollama (Was trying to experiment with `qwen3-vl:2b`). I was tracking the issue back to openclaw at that time, I didn't even consider investigating ollama.

I attached a threads post here where I'm talking to meta ai to expand on both scenarios (not to use ollama, but llama.cpp & my take on the why this is the way it is - ie. commercial gains)

Re:Ask HN: Any interesting books you have read lately? on Thursday August 17, 2023 @05:14AM (#37159115)
In my case, the book has helped me to maintain my inner peace, which is really important when you want to get into the flow-state mind during programming. Emotional maturity is important for a work environment too, ability to handle the mental health of yourself and your teammates during long work hours gives a boost in productivity.
I am not sure about the law, but wouldn't products that are regarded as fanmade or unofficial (like rust awesome repo) come under their trademark policy?
Re:Rust Trademark Policy Comment Form on Tuesday April 11, 2023 @08:43PM (#35533687)
I am gonna try siding with the foundation, in the end all crates are from the ground up in Rust. So, why add the extra 5 characters (including a separation character), to your project. Without using the word "Rust" the project would be equivalent to a brand name, no?

It's strict, like the language. Won't compile till you fix all errors.

But the possibility that you can be sued, I guess that is what the community is so harsh about. They should rewrite the policy, so that even a 5 year old can't be sued, imho.

Ask HN: How bad is the current draft trademark policy of the Rust Foundation?

I just heard that if you use the term "Rust" or the Rust logo you can be sued by the Rust Foundation. I love Rust, but this move makes me question a lot about the future of Rust.RFC Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdaM4pdWFsLJ8GHIUFIhepuq0lfTg_b0mJ-hvwPdHa4UTRaAg/viewformIMO, Rust has gathered a lot of attention. And I know too much of something is harmful. This move says that...
