Show HN: Meltbox – where your agents send you briefs

https://meltbox.ai/

Easy to try even without an account! Would love all feedback.Hey all, I'm building Meltbox as a better human in the loop system. It's a way to centralize all of the decisions you need to make into context-rich briefs in a system built for fast human review.[Why]Something major changed recently. Agents have gotten even better and even faster at building apps / sites / dashboards / etc... and...

Re:What was your "Oh Shit" moment with GenAI? on Friday June 05, 2026 @06:59PM (#48419439)
There were two:

1) When I was testing one of the early coding agents, I gave it admin keys to a fresh AWS account and it configured everything beyond just building a demo site. That was, "oh shit, tool-use is going to be the killer feature of GenAI."

2) When I was still skeptical of the system as just a more-or-less dumb statistical predictor of the next token/word, I read the argument that even if it is a statistical predictor, the fact that it can reason means the intelligence is necessarily baked into the statistical model somewhere. That was "oh shit, intelligence is actually modeled."

Show HN: runCLAUDErun – Scheduler for Claude Code

https://runclauderun.com/

I built runCLAUDErun because I got tired of manually running the same Claude Code tasks every day. It's free and it runs locally. What it does: It's a macOS app that schedules your local Claude Code to run on any schedule you want - daily, weekly, or custom cron expressions. My use case: Every night at 11pm, it automatically summarizes my Obsidian daily notes. But, it can schedule any Claude task -...

Re:Nano Banana image examples on Thursday September 11, 2025 @06:12PM (#45216641)
I added some of these examples into my Nanna Banana image generator: https://nannabanana.ai

Show HN: Nannabanana.ai – Nanna-approved image generator

https://nannabanana.ai

The only reason this exists is because AI coding turns intrusive thoughts into product launches overnight. In reality, this was a good toy project to test out Cloudflare's platform. I've traditionally used AWS / Netlify / and a few others. Cloudflare was pretty easy to set up and they offer at-cost .ai domains. $140 for 2 years... painful for Nanna, but hey, boosts that valuation multiple by at...

I need to get started on croissants, or better yet pain au chocolat. What recipe do you use?
Re:Ask HN: Who Is Baking? on Tuesday March 24, 2020 @12:37PM (#22676070)
I like this approach
Re:Ask HN: Who Is Baking? on Monday March 23, 2020 @11:57PM (#22671726)
Nice! All for the gram... all for the gram
Re:Ask HN: Who Is Baking? on Monday March 23, 2020 @10:59PM (#22671455)
If you take 10 min tonight to make the starter (poolish), you'll be good to go to make the main dough in the morning!
Re:Make Ciabatta While Working from Home on Monday March 23, 2020 @07:18PM (#22669929)
Yes, quite literal!

Ciabatta aligns quite nicely with the pomodoro, requiring being left alone for several 25 minute intervals of rise between folds.

Would love to see photos when you make it!

Re:Make Ciabatta While Working from Home on Monday March 23, 2020 @02:48PM (#22667276)
This is broken down into pomodoros where you do real work for 25 minutes, then tend to the dough during your 5 minute breaks!

Not sure why the first one got flagged. Reposting with a matching title.

Currently tracking ~50 people. Let me know who else should be on the list!

It's an "exit intent modal"
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @05:21PM (#21031414)
Looked into this. Turns out that the default extensions report 0 installs, so the original number is correct.

Though, the latest number is now ~137M installs.

Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @05:04PM (#21031269)
ooo.. I'll get on that.

There are in fact 10 default extensions. Will filter them out...

Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @04:35PM (#21030997)
Do you mean some way of integrating donation requests by extension devs?
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @04:31PM (#21030952)
What would you like to see? I'll make some.

turns out 2fb.me redirects users to this PayPal page after they share their twitter post on Facebook:

Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @03:27PM (#21030297)
Yes, and since we don't have data past 10M installs for any given extension, all of those are essentially tied for the top spot.
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @03:20PM (#21030241)
...and where does it come from?
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @03:15PM (#21030204)
The top list lists only the top extension in that category.
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @02:58PM (#21030049)
Yea, I'm also curious.
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @02:49PM (#21029973)
Just ran the query to find that Chrome HD Themes has only 51,724 installs across now 6064 extensions.
Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @02:43PM (#21029921)
Yea, the title refers to the author that is prolific by installs (FreeAddon), rather than the author that is prolific by extensions (Chrome HD Themes).

Chrome HD Themes has over 6k published extensions!

Re:Breaking Down the Chrome Web Store on Friday September 20, 2019 @02:20PM (#21029721)
Some other stats:

- The most popular category is “Productivity” accounting for ~40k extensions and 676M installs

- Google itself authors 155 extensions accounting for ~133M installs
