Re:Using uv as your shebang line on Tuesday January 28, 2025 @05:29PM (#42858954)
This is true. For example, the following shebang/uv header works on both macOS and Linux:

#!/usr/bin/env -S uv --quiet run --script
  # /// script
  # requires-python = ">=3.13"
  # dependencies = [
  # "python-dateutil",
  # ]
  # ///
  #
  # [python script that needs dateutil]

I'm pretty sure that's a Link MC5 terminal, which emulates DEC VT220 by default, but that font doesn't seem very VT220ish. https://vt100.net/dec/vt220/glyphs

Neither, he's the Alcor Mike Perry:

Quotes are indeed still respected by Google: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/2466433

For example, this search without quotes doesn't mention Dennis Ritchie's NYTimes obituary on the first page of results:

https://www.google.com/search?q=became+more+interested+in+co...

Add quotes and the obituary becomes the first result:

https://www.google.com/search?q=%22became+more+interested+in...

I expect you're remembering User:Lupin/popups.js[1], which dates back to August 2005.

It soon became known as Navigation Popups[2], and is still available today.

The main documentation for Page Previews mentions Navigation Popups.[3]
