Nice ARM support! 6.0 is not showing up on brew yet.
Handling common concerns in each microservice such as authentication and authorization, building resiliency in each µservice, managing each µservice configurations. This causes duplicated effort in each µservice. Need to look at service mesh (istio, linkerd).

Handling service discovery, API gateway in ever-changing kubernetes ecosystem.

Re:Google to acquire Apigee on Thursday September 08, 2016 @07:00PM (#12458202)
Apigee has a lot of smart engineers working on nodejs based open source projects and contributing to OpenApi spec (fka Swagger). Good to see that Chet K chose Google to acquire these talented engineers. And ofcourse the Apigee community is A++.

Re:Ask HN: How do you find freelance/contract gigs? on Sunday January 18, 2015 @04:25PM (#8908953)
Odesk and elance are very competitive market places from developers in Asia, Eastern Europe. These are good if you are looking for developers to outsource work to. It was mentioned in a recent Reddit AMA See http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2shhgj/iama_25_year_ol...

Ask HN: Watch apps and advise for Indie developers

Not seen lot of discussion about Android Wear and Apple Watch apps. There are several apps which are slowing rising to popularity - mini viewfinder for smartphones, fitness trackers, etc. I am excited for apps (and no games!) on watches but skeptical as the use cases are very narrow with limited interactions. Any advise for Indie app developers or for folks who want to make something on side?

Re:Show HN: Front-end framework optimized for internal apps on Sunday December 07, 2014 @08:59AM (#8712166)
Great point. From perspective of someone deciding between using bootstrap themes vs flakes the decision would be based on whether you want bootstrap or not. What I don't get is why would you NOT use bootstrap or material design and pick something like getflakes? The justification that it's for internal apps - apps which don't have proper budget allocations, need to be done quickly with usability short cuts? I guess that does happen a lot for internal apps. But why would you not build getflakes using bootstrap or foundation?

Re:Ask HN: Subscription based Vacation/Travel on Saturday December 21, 2013 @09:00AM (#6946663)
I started thinking that way too. Great minds think alike! But Timeshares are so icky with their high pressure sales and bait-and-switch horror stories. Is there a way to make Timeshares cool again? Perhaps AirBnB, Homeaway do this to some extent?
Re:Ask HN: Subscription based Vacation/Travel on Tuesday December 17, 2013 @06:35PM (#6924778)
Sure. That works for some people. But some people lack "commitment" and make compromises when making decision like - Should i take vacation or finish project X on time? Should I take vacation or use that money for fixing something in the house?
Re:Ask HN: How much data do mobile analytics frameworks collect? on Tuesday December 17, 2013 @06:22PM (#6924716)
Checkout Flurry's Privacy Policy http://www.flurry.com/privacy-policy.html "The data collected by the agent may include.." Based on this the data sent to flurry's servers should not be that much. They should be also optimizing the size of data sent. Ofcourse you can always watch the data being sent using Charles to get a sense of the size of the payload.

Ask HN: Subscription based Vacation/Travel

First time asker here. I work/slog throughout the year even during Summer and don't plan or take vacation. Sometimes its due to financial constraints, but most times its due to poor planning on my part. A thought came to mind about subscription based vacation site. You can deposit money throughout the year and then 2-3 times a year plan a vacation. Create a playlist of vacations. Googling...
