Hey HN! I'd love any feedback on this app I built called Find Humane which is a free website and phone app for people to find humanely raised animal-based products including meat, skin care, soap, leather, pet food, and more at over 28,000 locations nationwide and by delivery.
The tech stack is pretty simple: Client (Expo) } Server (Ruby on Rails) } Database (PostgreSQL). I've really enjoyed Expo and React Native.

Thanks so much, that's exactly what I was looking for! I'm not looking for anything beyond fiduciary duties and they've agreed to zero compensation. Thanks! A help topic on this linked during the "add a director" flow would help put a mind at ease. I really appreciate your service so far.

Yeah, I've been trying to minimize lawyer costs :) Clerky has helped tremendously with that, but maybe I finally need one. Though I imagine this sort of thing is generally pretty boiler-plate.

My new startup is going well: traction, revenue, etc. I want to add some people to the board of directors to qualify for a grant. They've agreed informally and I shared the By Laws.I use Clerky and there's a process to add a member to the board, but it's just a board resolution with the existing members (just myself currently). The new board member doesn't have to sign anything as part of that...

Thanks, great feedback. I'm using the same code for web and mobile apps (Expo/React Native), but mobile users have gone through the app store landing page, so I agree it makes sense to add a landing page for web users. I'm thinking of a small little pop-up on first visit, but let me know if you'd prefer something else.

Currently $0 revenue but we have some affiliate links to humanely certified delivery services, so hopefully the ball will start rolling!
