It varies greatly, but most stay for at least 3 months, empirically.
Certainly, and growing too.
Because that's not in our interest long term. If we charge upfront a large amount (and inevitable disincentivize ourselves from providing great support and upgrade to them thereafter -- which are crucial since it's an "extremely difficult" business), we will get negative word of mouth that will not be great for our sales and marketing.
Traffic, conversion, revenue, margins.

Our sales and traffic have been slow in December so far (and I can only imagine that they will get worse), but we cannot trace it to any particular factor, other than December is the holiday season, and B2B SaaS products like ours don't get bought when people are thinking about vacations and family time.Anyone has any input on this matter? Or should we be worried?

Facebook has the benefit of showing that you are the type of company that engages with its customers and users. It is also scalable in the sense that you can answer a question once and many people can read it. Email is quick, and most people are comfortable with using email.

I know the easy answer to my question is "just take a rest and don't think about it," but how would you really know? Do you have a personal acid test to know if you're really tired or just plain undisciplined?
Hello Ashraful, I have dropped you a line. Hope to hear from you soon! (though I'm not sure why you're doing this for free)
I think Max Levchin once said something like "If there's doubt about your co-founder, there's no doubt." Meaning that the moment you have doubts about your co-founder, you should break it off and cut your losses. Hope this provides some perspective.
