Very cool. Does it work with SQLite-sync so you can work across laptop and desktop for example?

Do any of these tools support remote access eg via Zellij and/or easy spin up and management of project-specific contains/isolation spaces? That triad seems like it it would be particularly compelling

I’ve been using PRD specs at kick things off, but curious about how to a “work log”. Are there examples of how to do this with CC?
Re:Dropbox backs of on macOS changes to allow external drives

Looks like Dropbox may be looking into other options for maintaining MacOS compatibility but still allowing for DB files to sit on external drives (which is very helpful for implementing 3-2-1 backups).
See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34650987 for discussion on why this change was problematic.
Ask HN: Local reading-list apps / hacks across devices?
Are there any apps that help manage an offline reading queue that includes local files (e.g. Office docs) rather than online web pages, without having to upload them to a distinct service beyond perhaps DropBox / Box / etc? I want to be able to save or drop files into a folder, organize them into a queue, have them show up on other devices, and check them off somehow after I've read them on...

Same thing happened to us, but with http://www.crashplan.com: out of the country for 2 weeks that happened to overlap with the expiry of our annual subscription. Because the credit card on file had expired, CrashPlan tried to contact us via email for a week and then deleted all of the backups!
This does seem like a key aspect of the "service" component of SaaS, in particular for cases where data is deleted or is otherwise difficult to restore (i.e. recovery involves more than just a new, valid credit card number). Maybe we need some sort of SaaS evaluation or ranking system that took these types of policies (grace periods, etc) into account...

Re:Ask HN: tools to create feature-level comparison matrices?

Nice! I always wondered what Squared might be good for pragmatically. I've played around with it a bit since yesterday and the parsing is pretty raw, esp for spec sheets from the Dell site (which surprised me). But you can save it to Google Spreadsheets and go from there, so it looks like a nice way to get started. Thanks!
Ask HN: tools to create feature-level comparison matrices?
We've been using Excel to create feature matrices to compare different tech components, listing both technical features as well as fit to our needs (e.g. using 1-5 stars to indicate how it fits our requirements). We've done this for storage devices, cell phones, and are now considering switching from PC to Mac and are trying to compare across the two. Creating these sheets is time-consuming and...
